You need to use your heal orb Not only on 1 target, everytime 1 teammate is Low give it to him, the Tank get it Back after your Team is healed, most of the time you are behind your Team you See all of Them in that way you can get a Lot if Not the Most healing in the Game ✌️

Yeah exactly, just recently got zen and I love the character. not much healing but the discords come in clutch and it's so easy to heal ur teammates like u said. Just give them orb and after a couple seconds give em to another teammate, and switch back to healing tank

Zen isn’t a healer though, he’s a support. If I give my harmony to my monkey who’s really low but is hiding behind a wall, sure, I’m healing, “doing my job as a healer” except as mentioned above, zen isn’t a healer. Let’s say, same time my monkey is low and hiding, my tracer decides to go on a flank, and I could orb her so she lasts an extra second in the fight, possibly making the difference between securing a kill or just being a pest and charging the enemy support ults for free. But since I’m “doing my job as a healer” she isn’t getting that orb, monkey needs it, he’s low. Oh, look, now tracer died because she expected to get a harmony orb (that’s what she would have done if she was playing zen), she didn’t get a pick, and they’re pushing onto you quick and monkey is still low because, for some reason or another, zen is the only support alive atm. That happened because I didn’t do my job as a support, which is to make the decisions of my teammates more favorable. Tracer wants to jump onto their zen, throw her the orb, slap discord on him if you can, now the odds are in her favor. Monkey’s still low? Tell that bitch to get a mega. With zen, you could say you affect things in the margins, but those margins add up in the course of a match and can start to snowball. Niche scenario, you could say, but one I’ve seen a thousand times. Granted, you’ll only see players as bad as the ones I gave in my example here in like plat or lower, but I spent a long time there lol. To be fair, that’s also where the bulk of the playerbase is. Actually, you could probably still see it in diamond too, just less often because at diamond and up, people are actually aware of whether or not they are being or are going to be or are capable of being healed. I haven’t played since season 2 of OW2, but I reached masters 2 as a zen one trick. However, i play on console, so take that how you will. I don’t mean to sound like an asshole. If you’re new, that’s awesome, keep playing.

How you play Zen: 1) Orb your tank 2) Orb their tank 3) Hunt kills 4) Don't notice orbs dropped 5) Hunt kills 6) Ult only to save yourself 7) Hunt kills .... That's roughly how it works on my ELO anyway :D

I just picked up Overwatch for the first time last week and Zen has been the hero I'm most drawn to. I've barely used the charged orbs, so this was great advice

Just don't over use the charge ... use the charge to win ur 1v1 battles ...

OW1 had way more people in voice chat because it was before the community was a bunch of entitled whining reporters. It was generally, a friendly place to be. You even got compliments from the opposing team.

ZENYATTA IS MY MAIN... And my squad n team members simply hate him. I play him because I've learned He's a force to be reckon with. I know this , im just not playing him correctly. Also everyone fxckn complains when the team loses because his healing sucks, but they refuse to acknowledge that a formidable , highly Skilled Zen can Deconstruct the opposing team.

I've been trying to figure out a good support main for me. I like mercy and zenyatta. Best game from zenyatta was 23-3 with more dmg than 1 of our dmg players and more heals than our mercy. Haven't had a game like that since😂😭

I find it really hard to deal with flankers like genji and long ranged hero’s like Hanzo, ashe and widowmaker. I need to do dmg but alot of the times to do so I have to peak down the sitelines these hero’s are taking. How do I deal with a situation like that? And how do I deal with a genji who’s constantly attacking me and my other support who isn’t peeling for me? Do I play around buildings much more? Or play further back so that the genji has a harder time reaching me?

hide behind shield, go further back, play around corners or areas where you can get cover after doing dmg yes play around buildings more and don't go too far back because otherwise you will be easy pick

Yes no problem. In this situation, I am saying that the Sigma does not have flux yet (BUT IS CLOSE) and you are forced to use transcendence. Because you were put in a bad situation, it opens up the opportunity for him to get a free flux without your transcendence active. To counter this, you can look to apply discord on HIM and kill HIM as fast as possible so that you can win the fight before he gets back, and maybe even build another transcendence in the meantime.
