Curious how accurate the shortage data will actually be, with people reporting shortages who have never been on name brands in the first place because of the cost. Because of you and myself researching I'm slowly moving to semaglutide. My insurance won't cover any GLP-1s for weight loss soon. I can't lose the meds. So far, sema is not as awful as people say. I may be speaking too soon since I've only taken 2 doses but so far so good.

Queen, I’m down 60 lbs, all on Tirzepatide since last January. This is a definite win for me, and only happened because I could not get Zepbound because of the shortage. I have paid lots o money out of pocket for Tirzepatide, Medicare is no help with any GLP1 medication. If they shut down legit compounders, and I can’t get zepbound from a pharmacy, where do I go from here?….

Fridays reduced my dose of Tirzepitide to 11.25 so I had to cancel. They said they had to automatically reduce prescriptions by 90%. Currently doing well on 15mg so I went with another compounding company. I plan to use the coupon once compounding is not an option and will hopefully be able to get the 15mg but I am not reducing what works for now. 110 pounds down and 55 of that with tirzepitide

So i heard from my compounding pharmacy , that starting on Wednesday , they will again be offering tirzepatide its 750.00 for 2 month. but i can also get semiglutide. It’s 300.00 for 2 months. I don’t really know which one to take. I have been on tirzepatide 8 months. Any suggestions would help
