In this episode we will be listening to Greta Van FLeet's 'Trip the Light Fantastic'. I didn't even realize that this was a live version when I first clicked on it. I thought it was the video. I think that is a nice change to break the mold of reacting to studio stuff first.

I used to think GVF gifted us with these live videos because of the pandemic, but they are truly dedicated to being an excellent performing band because even with these newest releases coming out, they are still giving us both studio and live versions of their songs. And it’s so smart because they truly excel in both.

Its a sign from the greta gods that you picked the live version of this one... it is much better than the studio version, in my opinion... The guitar and bass shine so much more. Cant wait for the next one!!!

I didn’t care much for this song when I first heard it. I then heard this live version and I loved it way more than the studio version. Much more energy and sam’s bass riffs are fun

My cats take great offense to your attempt to keep them out of the circle, sir. 😂 These early performances from the TBAGG album are so precious for the fans...it was still pandemic, the whole world was shut down and everybody was scared and lonely and they knew it. These boys always have their fingers on the pulse of their fan base, I always felt like they gave these to us to help the healing process. (It seemed like forever to me between these videos and the album.) We were all clamoring for the new music, and I think they knew we needed it. And I think they were dying to get back to work, too! Or, I could be full of it and imagining things, but I don't think I am.

I believe this song is about death and the afterlife. The “ram ram ram” that he was chanting is actually a Hindu mantra for happiness/peace, I think
