Here's just a few of Zep covers and ripoffs: "Taurus" by Spirit, Willie Dixon's “You Shook Me” and “I Can’t Quit You Baby”, Memphis Minnie’s “When the Levee Breaks”, Anne Bredon's “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You”, Jake Holmes' "Dazed and Confused," Willie Dixon and Muddy Waters' “Whole Lotta Love” and many others. This just names a few and shows how Zep was an ok cover band.

@@suncrow11Duh. Every Zep fan and detractor alike knows this list; it doesn’t mean you won an argument. Your comment is laden with anti-Zeppelin judgment. You represent a segment of people out there who maybe dislike Zep (that’s OK) and like to troll those that do with that type of argument. You’re in a minority, although you’re entitled to your opinion. Regarding the list of songs, Zeppelin maybe blurred the lines on a couple of songs, but none of their versions sound like the original at all, and in fact Zeppelin wildly altered them (such as When the Levee Breaks). And the Taurus thing is just stupid. The lawyer representing the Spirit dude lost the litigation multiple times now, and smart musos like Rick Beato have discredited the whole allegation musically. So whatever.
