No kidding torterra only won against a useless James and Jessie team rocket battle if I were the animators I would have given torterra a better moveset better stats and evolved torterra sooner then before the eighth gym battle

If you mean the probabilities then yeah it’s 30%, but BACK in gen 4 there was a chance to paralyze an electric type even with Thunder wave. Oh and Pikachu had static anyways

Ash sucked as a trainer for Torterra, being a Ground type he had no ground type moves he would have easily carried Ash through this gym and also the league but we can only have regrets now
