Is there a specific torque necessary on the two bolts to keep alignment?

There is no torque requirement on the adjustment mechanism. The two bolts can be hand tightened. Burr alignment on the Z1 is achieved by following tight tolerances between the spindle and main shaft. The adjustment mechanism does not play a crucial role when it comes to alignment.
