Very confused about the wires for the Neutrik port, I know how to connect it to the console or pc but I’m lost on the inside wiring. Where does the USB cable connect inside?

It depends on the passthrough you're using. For RJ45 (Retro board) you'll want a Cat5e or better internal cable to connect from the internal end of the passthrough to the Retro board. For USB-based boards (all other Brook boards) you'll need a USB A to B cable if you're connecting directly from the passthrough to the board. In my case I use a USB C passthrough to connect to a hub then connect the A to B cable. In short it becomes: [Board]--USB B to A--[Hub]--USB C--[Passthrough]--USB C (to A or C)--[System] Keep in mind that if you're using the Neutrik NAUSB you have to reverse the default so that the B port is on the outside. See here for doing that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWSkk4Chjt99aNk If it helps, this will show how the RJ45 gets installed: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKbGoKpvrth4grM Does that make sense?

Hi im building a fightstick, i'd like to use a neutrik usb passthrought because the outside cable locks well to the passthrought. But i can't find any usb neutrik cable with a normal USB A at one end so i can plug into a console or PC, can only find neutrik cable with neutrik locking connector on both ends. Do you have to make your own cable ? Thx really like your videos.

Sounds like you're looking at the NKUSB cable; unfortunately I don't know of any cables like what you're looking for. You might want to look into aviator-style connections and cables though; search for "aviator" on ArcadeShock and you should find what you're looking for. Downside is it's harder to find those cables if you forget yours.
