--LYRICS-- What is my free will if I lie helpless? I want all of the pain, I'm selfish All my real ones, I know that they felt this Pain that's endless I wish death had took me first But my loved ones written on a T-Shirt In the clean suit, ridin' in a cheap hearse Wishin' it was reverse, waitin' for the reapers Won't you take me instead? Won't you aim for my head? If there's heaven waitin' They'll beg me for my forgiveness Won't you take me instead? When I wait for my rest? If there's heaven waitin' They'll beg me for my forgiveness *_Dubstep Intensifies_* Won't you take me instead? I was holdin' in my last breath Foldin' in when all the colder shit in my life took a fast left Watch you bleedin', know the way you see me, look at me like I was half dead But I just couldn't accept I just couldn't ever, everything was fine with you, but now we're past that, but I would take the pain for you in a heartbeat To take it from me better bring up an army Selfishly I thought the hell was extinguished, just enough for you to have to leave it alone I'm not sorry, I'm not ready to give up this easy I'll rip my heart out from the front of my chest 'fore I turn my back, or you need me Won't you take me instead? Won't you aim for my head? If there's heaven waitin' They'll beg me for my forgiveness Won't you take me instead? When I wait for my rest? If there's heaven waitin' They'll beg me for my forgiveness Won't you take me instead? Take me instead, take me instead, take me instead, take me instead

I'm new to Zero. Just wondering if you could give me a little info on him? KICK ASS SONG!!
@lanepress48173 жыл бұрын
@@dianebroude8321 honestly don’t know a whole ton about zero 9:36, you could probably find some interesting details on them if you looked them up, but personally I like to enjoy the music without necessarily knowing who the artists are, if I love the artists and what they stand for and I like the song it makes the song better. That’s just my opinion. I listen to a lot of hard rock metal music that is from artists who base their music off real problems in society and zero 9:36 does that with a lot of their songs too, from what I picked out. They’ve done quite a few collaborations with other relatively big name rock artists including theory of a deadman. They incorporate rap into their songs. Which I love because it bring people into different genres, and growing up listening to rock in the rap era should I say was different and difficult because people saw rock and metal as satanic and then viewed me differently because of the music I listen to. Which is still how it is, but I found people who are like me and things are good, but having cross genre bands like zero 9:36 is amazing because it breaks down barriers between the very different genres thus bringing more people into the rock and metal area, bring more of a notice to it. Because rock is most definitely NOT dead!!! 🤘🤘🤘
@dianebroude83213 жыл бұрын
@@lanepress4817 they used to say Ozzie, Kiss and Judas Priest were satanic in my day. Shit, that's some of the best rock ever! I like talking to people who enjoy the same music as me. I like all genres of music. I like country and country rock also. I just like what I like doesn't matter how famous the band or the music. So I guess we just like good music. Thanks for your reply. ( I love Black Stone Cherry, you might want to check them out)
@lanepress48173 жыл бұрын
@@dianebroude8321 I respect all genres, but it bothers me so much when people listen to and like praise some of the mainstream artists today, Bcs they are so inappropriate and immature, leaving stage because they “don’t feel well” when these rock and metal artists are still performing if they have broken limbs or if they can barely sing Bcs they are doing what they love and they actually care about their fans and their music and they aren’t having some random person write songs for them. And then these songs that these people are singing are full of sucky inappropriate things and aren’t even good, they are just catchy, but they lyrics actually suck. And you probably think the same thing but with rock ya know the lyrics are raw and with how the vocalists use their voice to put meaning and depth behind those raw lyrics it puts a much deeper feel on the songs. And people constantly say “oh they are just screaming you can’t understand what they are saying how does this sound good” yes it’s an acquired taste but once you know about the artists and bands and songs and you realize how deep the songs are and what the songs are about the screams go along with it. I had someone ask why an artist was screaming to a song and the answer was “this dudes mom just died so the song is full of anger and sadness about that. That’s why he’s screaming” Also there are just some bops too. Like ice nine kills like damn, their horror movie songs are just total jam worthy. Bring me the horizon. All these bands are bands they put out such good music that when your in a good mood you can scream along to it and dance around like an idiot, but when your upset or in a mood you can sit and scream to it. And that’s the great thing about metal. If your angry and need to get some anger out blast a metal song, so what if the song is happy or sad or about horror movies you just scream along and get your anger out and feel so much better!!
@lanepress48173 жыл бұрын
@@dianebroude8321 I also do like a couple black stone cherry songs. And Ozzie, kiss, and Judas Priest. I was raised with the “classic rock” and then I basically went through the eras till I got stuck in the new stuff. Everything is good. And honestly I tell people there is actual satanic metal like Bulgarian black metal, but that shit is still dope
