I have been begging them to create an app to control the functions on the unit. when I am in my tent, I do not want to get up and go outside to change any settings, turn it off or on. the range of the remote on the mark 2 was way too short. so short that you may as well reach over and use the onboard controls lol.. it's a great unit but I hope they address some of the little things like that. the heat pump on the unit is a game changer. that will put it in direct competition with other well known companies. thank you for the review Brother. I can't wait to get my hands on the mark 3. this looks like the one that I have been asking them to build.

This is literally coming from the zero breeze KZbin channel and the host is saying it is an independent review. Take that with a grain of salt. I like the product but people need to have the perspective of this versus a regular 5000 btu air conditioner
@ZEROBREEZETech Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. Yes, our Mark 3 portable AC is different from normal ac with 5000 btu in many aspects. Check out more info here: bit.ly/47A6lZp

People using a regular 5000BTU isn’t going to take it camping or outdoor activities. I’d say the reviewer did a pretty good job

You will want to keep the air intake to the unit inside of your tent or vehicle in order for it recirculate the cooler air being generated to help the unit cool down faster, less condensate, and longer battery run time. Just as your house unit or recirculate mode on your vehicle A/C. Not always having to work it's ass off constantly drawing in the hot and humid air from outside.
@ZEROBREEZETech6 ай бұрын
That's right. There several ways to set up the A/C depending on the spaces and needs.

We definitely need a comparison to the Ecoflow Wave 2.

They all do that. Pretend competition doesn't exist. That is why this IS NOT an independent review, that most definitely WOULD compare it to the competition.

I'm sure the Mark III will not last as long if you turn it up to use that 5200 btus. When I talked to zero breeze they said that the sleep mode both units pull 200 w. And the water drain is like a sump pump it builds up water until it gets to a point then it pumps it out so you may have tipped all that water out before it had a chance to pump it out. I've never had a portable AC but I did pre-order the Mark 3 so hopefully it's as good as it seems.
@ZEROBREEZETech Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for your support! In the video, we conducted a running time test using the cool mode, with a power consumption range of 200-350W. The Mark 3, boasting a capacity of 1036Wh, can run for approximately 2-5 hours. The exact duration may vary depending on factors such as the environment and settings. Our active drain system includes a detector to sense water in the machine and a pump to remove it when it reaches a certain level. Remember to keep it still for a while after turning off the AC so that the system can fully drain out the water.

@@robm2815 Im just getting the free stuff for them exceeding goals. I'll get a 48 to 12 adapter to muse in my RV. I didn't even get a battery. Just the ac. No, have not received it yet. Bummer, but I'm doing a lot of RV parks right now with hookups anyways. Hopefully it will arrive very soon.

How can they claim 4x the coverage area with only 2x the BTUs? That just fundamentally doesn't make mathematical sense.
@ZEROBREEZETech11 ай бұрын
Hi, the coverage area of 100 to 150 sq ft is provided by www.calculator.net/btu-calculator.html, which indicates an ideal cooling effect of 5280 BTU.

Most importantly, is it silent, at least in sleep mode? Does it use brushless motors, what else has been done to make it silent?
@ZEROBREEZETech Жыл бұрын
In sleep mode, the noise is only 46dB, making it suitable for a cool and quiet sleeping environment.

Thanks for the review. We are a backer and this will be our first ZB product. Kinda a big question here... we got this using specifically for a squaredrop trailer. It will have 2 air ports on the front. From the looks I really hope there's a hose included to connect and to leave the unit outside. From a bed on wheels, or a RTT this would take up alot of real-estate if a hose isn't an option.

What is your opinion on this vs Ecoflow Wave 2?
@1stRanger6 ай бұрын
He isn't paid to have an opinion.

I can't speak for the Mark 3 as it hasn't been put out. But the Wave has been junk. The first one was so bad they re-designed it a few months after release. The new one is still plagued with wonky controls that freeze or don't respond. Error codes, loud rattles and screeching sounds, failing drain pumps, etc. Ecoflow problem was they didn't really test them. They gave them to influencers who won't say anything negative because they need items for their social media to test and in a lot of cases they get to keep the product. These people know if they say something bad about a product, other companies won't give them anything to review.

I just want to know if I can charge the battery alone from any AC outlet. I have the Ecoflow Wave 2 and you can't charge the battery without the unit being attached.

Yes, you can charge the battery alone from any AC outlet using the 500W adapter.

The new one is 5000 BTU and the old one is 2300 BTU. The question is, how many watts on high does the new unit use? 500 watts? I was looking at the breeze 2 with out the battery. Hook it up to a power strip that is connected to a single 100 Ah or double Battle Born battery 200 Ah setup. I previously compared the Eco Flo 2 to the breeze 2. 500 watts is a lot of power to ask for.
@ZEROBREEZETech9 ай бұрын
Hi, the maximum power output for the Mark 3 is 500W, while the Mark 2 requires up to 240W. Check out more info here: bit.ly/47A6lZp

The air conditioner does not have a standby mode. Essentially, standby mode functions the same as turning it off.

Zero Breeze was pressured by consumers switching to the Wave 2 that's why they scrambled to also add a heater which made it bulkier. That's a stupid move.

Hi, thanks for your feedback! We're always happy to hear from our customers, as it helps us stay rigorous in our development. Technological innovations are a gradual process, and we're constantly working to improve. The focus of the Mark 3 is still on being a world-leading portable AC, providing cooling relief for night sleeping. However, in response to hotter climates, we've increased the BTU to enhance cooling effectiveness. Additionally, the heating feature doesn't add extra weight, as it utilizes the rear hot air and can now be controlled via the panel.
