@@abztube2731He may not be lying. The way the test is designed you've just gotta learn to pass it. I didn't have any formal lessons and probs only had about 20-25 hours of driving, about 15min at a time, before taking my test n I passed first time with 1 minor.

In Portugal you do have to take personal formal lessons and only after the lessons you can go to the Exams you first have to pass the Driving Rules exam and only then you can take your Driving exam@@NK-bj8li

What a nice person Taran is! And it was an interesting experience to watch somebody with zero intructor-guided lesson show how they drive. It's a pity he got so nervous, I think he'd come out off much better if he he'd been more relaxed, but we don't really know how often and in what kind of traffic he gets to practice. It was nice to see a bit of a new area, too -- the sights of this borrow have not seemed to feature in any Aman's videos I've seen so far.

Hey Taran, you've got potential there, a few scary bits mind! With some good lessons with a good Instructor and we both know one, you'll smash that Test. You've done amazingly well with no professional lessons. Be gentle with that gear lever, it's your best friend.

@@evaosborne7892 kudos for admitting it. But I don't think it's a good idea to let (many) people know that you're doing a driving test. It only adds extra mental pressure on you. I'm learning that the hard way. Just keep it to yourself, and once you've passed, there will be plenty of time to advertise the good news. Best of luck next time! :D

In Ireland, we mandatorily have to have at least 12 professional driving lessons done with an instructor before we can take the driving test. Is this not the case in the UK?

He would be happy to pass it. My test was failed. I was very upset for a week and week, the examiner give me the last minute,. It's to much meat for students whose is learning a lot of time and money paid for it. So he said dangerous failed. I wasn't expect that is was like he said. He try to explain to my instructor even though. My instructor said I'm not expect either! So. Nevermind. Just need to meet to see sensible exsam. Unfortunately bad luck. I hopefully will get this time.
