sweet. thanks so much for the analysis. i do have a question, though. the reason i charged in with those glaives suicidally was because i was trying to stall until my slings could be built up, and it ended up being far too costly. what would have been a better way to stall and avoid losing expansions? or would i have been better off not holding onto the expansions quite so desperately at that point? i'm surprised to learn knights and ronins work against fencers. i knew assaults were good against fencer, but knight seemed a bit slow so i didn't dare. ronin in particular is something i never would have thought to try, with the range mismatch i would have thought that matchup would be firmly in fencer's favour, even with stop-to-fire

Stinger is good. Also Glaives don't have a lot of health so sacrificing them doesn't buy you a lot of time. Getting your commander in the fight would also have helped a lot. If you would just have retreated the Glaives and Reavers and pushed together with your commander, you would probably have won that initial fight or at least forced the enemy to retreat.

First of all you need to choose attack direction that way fencers stayed on the line of own fire. So only few of them will fire. Also cloaky means that bots can hide. Engineer is working good for that. To close distance while hiding. Also scythe can haras back lines. Or kill factory.

If you get up an iris and let's say, 6-7 reavers, you can counter anything rover factory can build. Except maybe for badgers, but he would need a lot of them, because if there is only a few, you can go around the minefield and attack them from a side. And domis - but then again, if you manage to get close to them without him revealing you, you can massacre those domis. Cloaked reavers are insanely strong. Without a cloaker, countering rovers is hard. Stinger does well, but one impaler can mow down a field of stingers without a problem, so it only buys you some time, but statics alone cannot win a game.

Blue had a huge unit advantage on the 4-5 min mark, a few raids woulda done alot
