@@superblanco444 I think Weissman was more evil. That scene when he orders Joshua (Before the fight) to kill Estelle and he knows their connections and Estelle's reaction and he just revels in it. I don't think there's a contender for more evil character in the franchise than Weissman, maybe aside from Gerard Dantes, and Merchiole is also a good contender from Kuro.

@@oritrabelsi4030 It's two kinds of evil. Joachim was more selfish and sought power no matter the cost because he believed in his own truth. Weissman however lacked a basic understanding of empathy, obsessing over torturing individuals because it gave him a sense of safety and control.

Just finished Zero myself ^^ That powerscaling does seem a bit off, but I look at it like this: He was stronger than Wiessmann *in that moment* because of the transformation and mass consumption of Res Gnosis, but he was far more unstable, and broke down far quicker.

I constantly love the fact that the final bosses of the trails series are always right under your nose the entire time. Like it's a lesson not to judge someone because a person's exterior could be welcoming or regal but in the end their ambitions turn them into the monsters beyond who they show other people.

The amalgamation of "Way of Life", "The Merciless Savior" (Sky SC), and the general Sky Trilogy motif is so brilliant. Despite having so many other motifs, this Final Boss track feels incredibly unique. It's extremely good.

I love how this boss has hoarded all the 3D S-Crafts that 3rd introduced but were weirdly absent from Zero for himself. Way of Life is also an amazing leitmotif.

Using motifs throughout the series like "Merciless Savior" and "Way of Life", orchestra and choir that sounds as good as Jindo despite being synthesised, and the drum roll that kicks the song into high gear make this track unbelievably awesome. Definitely one of the best Kiseki final boss themes.

Trails is one of very few series I can be forced into using my near infinite stockpile of items I don't use throughout the game in the final boss. Joachim is the only enemy from ANY game to force me to use 90% of all my items I had just to survive, and that's on TOP of me maxing out on some items for the final dungeon for precaution's sake. Let this lesson be learned: BRING REFLECT BUFF ARTS ON *EVERYONE.*

Brilliant song but I don't really understand the title. "Arrival Existence"? Sounds like a fancy name for "birth." What's being born?

There's a couple of possible interpretations. The more obvious one is that the final boss brings a demon from another dimension into reality by overdosing on a drug that lets people do that, which is what turns him into the giant monster form you fight. But in the broader sense of "being born", this boss's master plan was to bring a new, physical goddess into existence, to replace the commonly-worshiped goddess Aidios, whom he viewed as a fake made up by the Church to justify their own power. He did in fact bring a kind of divine existence into being, but not the one he thought he was, and he himself was the patsy of a much larger conspiracy, and all the consequences thereof are dealt with in the sequel.

You know, unlike many people here, I honestly found the "final boss" of this game to be *underwhelming both in terms music AND in terms of the battle itself.* I'd honestly that *the final boss of Trails in the Sky the 3rd was 1,000,000 times BETTER in BOTH those aspects* (ESPECIALLY with the AWESOME *"Dreamy and Boisterous Holy Land"* as final boss theme in Sky the 3rd) IMO.
