I don't know if it is me, but there seems to be a lot more L plate riders around in and around Surrey. I've seen so many near misses. All learners should have to watch your videos first. I'm sure it would really help.

@@bdawg9206 yup loads of L plates everywhere. Lost count of how many MT 125 s on L plates I’ve seen recently. We all have to start somewhere, but some of the L plate decision making is not great. Stay safe.

Does your bike also show the A1 warning and if so: does it reduce power? Little bit worried about it.
@BalBob7 ай бұрын
Hi Cool delivery with the commentary... I was pleasantly surprised with power legislation categories of licence with the S and that torque Woww Throws the rule book out the window for the legislators I guess as its 11kw and how its measured? Ride away on just basic A1cbt! AMAZING! Also the new SR can be driven with A2 giving loads more torque! Brilliant. The S though is all a rider needs. Hope to see a detailed test ride with motorway? Cant wait to get an S or SR. Bye. 👍
@swss7 ай бұрын
Hi, yup if you’re happy riding electric the Zero S means you never need anything more than an A1 licence. Sounds daft but having a bike with equivalent performance of a 500-600 cc bike means you really don’t need to upgrade. Sure I could handle more power but in the real world do I need it? No. Would I like an SR or SRF yup but the extra cost of the SRF and aggravation of having to take a full A test doesn’t seem worth it. It does indeed throw the rule book out the window. I really need to find time to do a full review. Ride safe.

I was looking at the sr as yhere was good deals on a bit ago, Was very tempted. What put me off was highish insurance, reported belt snapping issues , low range and slow charge times. Tbh i could stomache all apart from the belt issues if the price was not so high... Still might get one if those deals come up again though.....
@swss7 ай бұрын
Belt snapping does happen but maintenance is key, having the correct tension does prolong the life of the belt. Range in town is about 160 miles Circa 120 out of town 100 or less if hooning it around in the country, but I do mean hooning it!

Is the range better than the 2023 S on this one? I'm really looking forward to know what range you get with it!
@_Meriwether7 ай бұрын
The reason I appreciate Energica as a brand is not that I like the super-sport looks, the performace, the range or any of that good stuff. It's that they got Zero off their @$$es to make a better product and raised the bar for the electric bike market as a whole. For too long Zero was squatting on their laurels and the old 'S' and 'SR' are a testament to that. They were the best of their kind, however no competition meant there was no innovation. I've been on the fence for some time, but I think now's the time to pick up a 2024 Zero 'S'. I love my Kawasaki Vulcan S, so I'm in two minds as to whether I'll keep it, but this new generation of Zeros is exciting.

Brilliant - videos on the new 2024 zero s from the UK worth watching at long last 🇬🇧 I'm so close to ordering myself. Could I ask because I'm really not sure, why the S over the SR?
@swss9 ай бұрын
S is A1, SR is A2, other than that it’s the same bike but the A2 SR is £1000 more expensive for an extra 10 bhp. It has a 15.6 kWh battery vs a 14-4 but you can pay £100 extra for the S and upgrade to the 15.6, it’s just a software upgrade. And I prefer the white S to the black SR but that a subjective taste thing.

Is it ok with the seat so low or is it worth bumping it up with a little storage beneath it? It's got enough tq to kit out with panniers, but the back end is much wider than a 2022 DS & DSR.
@swss9 ай бұрын
The seat is quite a bit lower than the old bike, they do a raised seat and I will look at whether getting higher seating would be better. My tail bag doesn’t quite fit on the passenger seat and I need to fashion a small extension to the rear seat.

Hey there, thank you very much for the impressions! One question concerning the seat height. How tall are you and which seat height did you choose? Cheers and greets from germany
@swss9 ай бұрын
I’m 5 ft 8 or 1.74 cm but short inside leg. I have the standard seat and can pretty much flat foot the bike and am considering trying the raised seat to get a more comfortable riding position.

Ah ok..thanks! I‘m 1,85..will be sporty right? Even with the raised seat..
@swss9 ай бұрын
@@marionyeky9840 I have a 30 inch inside leg, a bigger decision IMO is to go for the lowered pegs for a more comfortable riding position, that’s what I did having sat on an SRF with regular pegs and felt my knees were way too bent underneath me. I’m not sure how much higher the raised seat is as to whether it will make a difference for the better or just put me on my toes at the lights 🫤

how can you mention a panigale and a duracell in the same sentance
@swss9 ай бұрын
You’re right I shouldn’t have bc the panigale isn’t in the same class when it comes to torque. 🤣 In all seriousness, I was just giving a yard stick as to how much torque it has, not its power or top speed, which of course aren’t in the same league. This bike is only the equivalent of a 500/600 cc bike. It’s just a bit of fun.
