All the rabbits are enjoying the hay racks! It saves hay and give them something to work at which helps prevent boredom or other unwanted behaviors.

@@gwp1ohio yea, and I enjoy them so much. I've had them in the past. I already have the chickens and ducks so "✔️" that off the list. Just need to get set up for the rabbits. That's my goal for next spring/summer. This year's focus was getting back-up heat source installed and working, and some new windows put in. Baby steps but still moving in the direction of homesteading. 💜

I go by the method of feeding measured amounts of pellet, hay and treats per day. I give the rabbits their body size in hay per day. I feed a pile as large in volume as the rabbits body. It comes out to be roughly 1oz of hay per pound of body weight per day! Thanks for watching and commenting!
