Hey there! Loved the tutorial ❤ I'm prolly too late to ask but my teacher always told me to not have n-gons in your mesh, however after you added that hole it created n-gons. Should one spend time to fix it or can it be overseen? (in context of game props production).

It's really not a problem on flat areas that won't be deformed. You should certainly read up on n-gons vs. quads. Thanks very much.

Often when I do a tutorial, I model the object first and then make a reference for you to download from my own work. All of the reference images that I link to that are on the zerobio discord were from me. Sometimes I will link to an image elsewhere on the internet, however. Hope that answers your question.

The link to the discord is in the description of any of my videos that have blender challenge in the title. Hope you can find it, there are lots of reference images there.

Yeah so discord doesn't keep the links active so now you have to go to my discord and search. It's a bit of a hassle and I'm considering posting the reference images on my ArtStation page but not sure I want to do that.
