SUBSTANCE PAINTER: BRICKS MISSING

In this video, I demonstrate a method to create missing bricks on a simple mesh (plane, not subdivided) using the brick generator in Substance Painter. Admittedly, the style of these particular bricks are not realistic, they look more like a cartoon but you could definitely work on that. The point was to get some bricks to be missing from the texture with just the grout showing underneath.
I used this method in the DUKE NUKEM AGAIN video series.

Excellent! I'm so glad this might be useful with some personal tweaks. I will do another video on bricks very soon that perhaps would be useful for another situation.
