Liked the grinders when tested but you can buy much better grinder with a little bit extra money and still feel timemore c3esp/s3 or mhw 3bomber R3 give much better value for money than the Hero grinders. What i like about the brand, that they really do the designs themselves, unlike most Chinese companies who just add their logo into the packaging and the product (in coffee industry).

Thanks for your comment! I enjoy experimenting with products at different price points to see how well they actually work. Years ago, there were just the C2 and a couple of other options at the lower price range, but now there are so many brands, all equipped with steel burrs, dual bearings, external adjustment, etc. It seems that even a $20-30 difference can make a noticeable impact. Yes, I agree, the C3 ESP, R3, K6 would perform much better, but they are indeed more expensive. ☕
