Absolutely a beautiful concert. Pitty you can give him only one thumb up. I'm from the Netherlands. Where he was not so known well. So i discovered him later. But i’m glad I did. He enriched my life. I'm so sorry he's gone. Rest in peace John.

I fell in love with John's music the first time I heard it. I immediately put meeting him on my bucket list. Sadly, there was no time for that to happen. When he was ill, I completely focused on his health reports. I have never been starstruck before or since, but I wept when he passed. It was some time before I could listen to his music again. In fact, it is still a bit difficult. He touched me deeply. Thank you, John. I hope you are singing for all the souls in heaven. Now, that would be an awesome reward for them. R.I. P.

I live near Nashville and he was at Vanderbilt Hospital where I had all my babies. Followed the story closely and since they are a hospital of excellence somehow thought he would pull through. The day I heard one of my best friends died, another friend called and said simply "John died" and we cried together. Loved him since 1971.

I first heard of him as I walked into a jail cell and an inmate was sitting on the floor playing a guitar, and singing Sam Stone that was 1977 and I was 21 now I'm 67 and know almost every word to every song he has written.

This show is fantastic! John’s music is such a comfort to me. I envision JP standing by peaceful waters, smoking a cigarette that’s nine miles long, and drinking a vodka and ginger ale. Next to him is my dear husband whom I lost to Covid 4 months later. They are both sporting illegal smiles. I will love them both forever and a day ♥️

Here's how I discovered him. Came home from work on a Saturday while the family was out. Hit the couch and turned on the TV expecting to nap. I stumbled on Austin City Limits and this was on. Got his Lost Dogs CD the next day, and more after. Took the family to see him at the Boulder Theater. Iconic voice, songwriter, and player with such wit, cleverness and a sense of humor. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nX_bpqKVfcl1nrs

I was at Earl of Old Town in 1972, Kris Kristofferson was on stage and he called a young Chicago guy to join him. His name was John Prine. Kris said he would be famous if he would ever take voice lessons. John replied saying his guitar teacher suggested tuning the guitar to his voice. John gave up and instead tuned his lyrics to our lives. He is a national treasure. He and Steve Goodman are playing music together along with so many other great ones who left us too soon.

The word great is thrown around to often. He was a great man. Part of what made him so great is that he did not understand his greatness, which allowed him to speak to us ordinary people. I just finished Todd Snider's book. He speaks of entertaining stories of his relationship with many legends. He makes it very clear that Mr. Prine was in a class all by himself by the way he treated ordinary people. He also spoke very highly of Kris Kristofferson, which is neat since he is the one who made it happen for John Prine.

I first became acquainted with John’s artistry in 1970.being from a musical family and a young guitarist and singer of many many songs.the first one I learned was grandpa was a carpenter.it changed my life and my musical profile if I may be so bold. But the impact was profound and remains so,to this day in 2022.I’m well into the senior years now and still take his songs to heart.every single one of them.I saw John on stage a couple times the first in Vancouver BC in 1971 or 72.a very impactful and heartfelt writer and performer. What you get with John on stage is just straight goods.A mastery of word smithing and the ability to grasp a crowd and keep them in his hand.Massaging the goodness and real life in all of us.You’re in the good place now John.I hope to be in your presence again.

@@brianbolger6313 Be kind it's not that hard. John brought Peace and love to every song, every concert and every member of the audience. He was a good, kind man. Take a deep breath and hold it in long enough to permanently absorb some of John's love, kindness and peace.

The Best of the Best!!! Someone needs to write a book with all his lyrics arranged to fit! I grew up with John and his music; Feel like I knew him personally. Ain’t it funny how time slips away? We never know what we have until it’s gone.

I was fortunate to see John in 2014 for the first and only time. I received the tix for a birthday present from my two sons who found out I was a fan from some FB videos of John that I shared. They blew me away with that gift and was shocked they paid that close of attention to their old man. One of the greatest concerts I’ve ever been to and it’s the worlds loss that John ain’t in it..

I love all kinds of music. I didn’t know about John Prine until recently. I have tried to listen to all of his songs on KZbin. It made me sad to find out he was already gone. Very few artists have moved me to tears with talent. Those that have it, have it and it is known immediately that they have it.

I won tickets to see him in Snowmass Colorado, following the concert ran into to him outside out accomodations and got to visit with him. My husband told him he was hoping to hear the Late John Garfield Blues. John sain he should of yelled it out. Next time he played in Denver, he did sing it that time. What an amazing talent and gift to us all. Miss him so much.
