Who else at BASE and with NO SUPPORT survives Ursula. Because using the Mass Duel Sim, Fjorm, Myrrh, and Byleth all fail. At equivalent support, Ursula always wins. At base, if they are equal, only Fjorm and Myrrh survive, worse than what Nagi does.

I think the character picks themselves are… ok. I’m bummed that Ranulf is still stuck in base unit hell despite being the most iconic of the cat laguz (inb4 someone says it yes I’m aware it’s because of the Japanese VA’s controversies but still), but I don’t hate these character picks like the last seasonal banner. Askr makes sense since we got Embla this year. Lethe is… fine. Her last alt was a New Year’s alt that was like four or five years ago so it’s “fine” (again should have been Ranulf). Nah I think is actually very cute and as the first manakete/human hybrid it’s nice that she’s getting more love (and also because the art for her Easter alt was bad in my opinion). And finally, Nagi getting her first alt is great and even though this is Idunn’s third alt, I think it’s a great Harmonic pairing that actually makes sense for once and Idunn definitely deserves attention.

Like, it's almost Yugioh levels of text bloat. And as someone who plays Yugioh as well as FEH, let me tell you that I have an easier time reading Yugioh card text than having to sit down and read Heroes weapon/skill text. I don't miss the "good old days" of early Feh because the game was less complicated, I miss them because I didn't have to read a fucking college thesis statement worth of text every time a new banner dropped.

@@rubysakurai If we’re being honest, I think it was because of the unit picks. Anna and Anna was a solid combo choice, but Timerra and Seadall don’t have as much of a pull. As neat as Timerra is, her and Alfred have the least story significance in Engage while Diamant and Ivy have much more of a story to their characters (plus, you know, big boobs for Ivy and Diamant being slightly more of a beefcake by FE fangirls’ perspective). And Flayn, much as I adore her, isn’t as much a main student as a side character only recruitable in any route that isn’t Crimson Flower.
