a big problem i had with skate 3 was the height limit when you create a park, i wanted to do a 500 ft high ramp and get 250kms a hour and jump like 2 football feilds but instead my ramp was way smaller and im crammed in a tiny stadium that isnt long or high enough and i grinded campaign to unlok that stadium and it sucked, also for park creation i think having mods would be awesome like super spin mods off skate 3 , a mod where you can increase the amount you powerslide and how long you can do it for , also if they add bert slides to the game but if you do it wrong you like break your arm or something that would be super funny ,also if you could bertslide plant that would be insane, so you jump up onto a wall land in bertslide then launch off the wall with your hands and board

i think if you could add drivable cars ,motorbikes and guns to park creation options that would be super sweet, for example your friend snakes you and you bail a awesome trick ,so you get up and shoot him in the head, you could have a mechanic where if you shoot a heavy gun like a lmg while on a skateboard it send you rolling backwards becuase of the huge recoil, , also if you could set your marker anywhere in the map ,even if you glitch far outside or under the map ,that would be cool, also if you add a glitch under the map purposly to the game and have a giant tunnel that leads to a huge 100ft undeground vert bowl with pipes connecting different spots in the bowl and pipes that lead to the surface or something, the possiblities with this game are limitless

Clearly this early in development most textures are missing, and that's why everything looks flat as of now. That being said, I still feel like they won't be going for the gritty aesthetic of Skate / Skate 2. Feel like they will create a "modern" environment with bright saturated colours just like Skate 3, if not even more. That's just how they are gonna approach a wider community, because bright landscapes attract more people, as opposed to the washed-out aesthetic that was more part of the PS3 videogame era, and thus would likely only bring in those players who grew up on said console gen.

There is so many things I’m seeing in this new Skate footage that I love. There is also so many improvements from Skate 3, like more tricks, more expression in your tricks, and even the camera looks and moves better, there isn’t any words I could use to say how exited I am about this game. While I would prefer if there was a story mode, im gonna play it either way. I can’t wait for this game! And I can’t wait to see your videos on it!

I'm not interested until they actually give us some hint of storylines, pros involved, cutscenes ... etc .. Skate was amazing for the single player story and pros involved. Love your channel :) But I don't have any faith in EA to get this right.

It's a free online-based game, if you still have any hopes left for a story mode or even just a single player mode (both of which unprofitable, thus unsuitable on a free game, unless they release them as paid DLC) you're in for disappointment.

I played in the first closed pre-alpha, and the game did feel like it was pretty barebones in tricks but it's good to know they're making improvements and even adding new ones. I did want to point out with the ramps around the city and going up in the air, this is because there are parts of the map where you have total unrestricted control over placing objects and making skate parks that go onto skyscrapers and hovering in the sky now. The whole thing is pretty sick even if they haven't brought back the custom parks from Skate 3 yet.

They are hosting playtests as they develop the game, some people are already playing the version and giving feedback. I feel like having a restricted amount of testers though is completely fine at the moment. Opening thise test builds to the public would not only be a weird move, but also cause way too much buzz around a version of the game that's unfinished.

So its Session, but with in-game purchases and a city designed for skateboarders. I want a map (city) where nothing is designed for skateboarding in mind, and you have to be creative about where you skate, instead of loads of city stricter 'coinsadently designed with smooth ramps. basically just street stuff. The main problem I see is the "architecture" of the city. Everything looks like is created for skating it (like in skate 3) for some people it's a good thing but it doesn't give vibes as hard as in skate 2, where the map actually looked like a city.

It's a free game, if they made a moddable single-player gamemode players would just stick there and not make any in-game purchases in the online part, which is necessary for the game to be sustained and receive support, considering the access itself is completely free. Or maybe they could make said gamemode paid while the online experience stays free, but that'd surely enrage the players.
