crazy how low friction that is, even for it being in a vacuum. Can anyone who knows english tell me how he achieves that? The high usage of kanji is pretty intimidating in this video and its above my level haha

9:10 it's so simple. This low friction is because of a magnet above the axis. Pulled up, the actual weight of axis decreases. I cannot explain details anymore sorry for my poor English.

@@とーゆ-o4t ahh thanks, I think I get it. Because the vehicle (in this case a disk) has its magnetic component positioned perfectly along the axis, the forces it exerts on the guidance system, and in turn the only force able to generate friction in a vacuum, is only at the level of sideways force generated by the vehicle, which would be 0 in an optimal setting. I doubt this will make it through the translator properly, just wanted to let anyone else who has this question what my understanding of it is
