Rabbits are my favorite thing to grow in my garden! I don't try to keep them out because the adults mostly eat my clover yard and dandelions. I feed them apple slices every day during warm months and seeds during the cold. If they have enough to eat then they rarely touch my plants. If the babies are stuck in my garden for a week they do nibble peas and lettuce but leave everything else alone. As they mature, they don't tend to eat any of my vegetables because they prefer the apples and yard weeds. I have about three adults from the past four years that are not afraid of me and will come out when I am outside to feed them. Do not worry, I do not want them to become tame and I do not try to touch them. But I think of them as little friends who also like plants!

Hi, Shenan! I like bunnies too. I like their presence, but want them just to eat the grasses and clovers. There is a little vegetable that I can grow if I don't have chicken wire, which prevents them from eating my vegetables. Just keep Peter the rabbit outside. Squirrels are cute, but can cause major damage to fruit trees and vegetables. I will re-locate some of them:)
Your fence can keep rabbits out, but squirrels still can come down from the top, they can dig your veggie up.

There are two fat squirrels in our backyard. I am going to re-locate them;)

@Backyard_gardening_beekeeping if they have babies at home, you relocate them, the babies will die. Even you relocate them, other squirrels nearby will move in to your yard.
