Thanks for the video! ❤ I have been staying in Hobart for more than 5 years already and i love the life style, as very quiet, semi-retirement feel. So it’s more suitable for people who prefer this kind of life style. I would say Hobart property is one of the most unaffordable based on the local salary, ie. The average salary in Hobart / TAS is lower but cost of living is high, eg rent, food, petrol, all these are more expensive than in Sydney. I guess because of the transportation from mainland to here. Also, the price of the Sandy Bay Areas (battery point, Sandy bay, lower Sandy, Bellerive) can go crazy, like 2.6M, small one bedroom apartment cost $650k in battery point. Of course you can choose other areas, but the point is, it might not be safe. This is one of my the biggest concerns. I think, it might be a good idea to invite/interview people who live in those different cities so people would know more about the city! ❤

thank you for your valuable feedback! I am sure people can learn a lot from this comment :)

I have worked in Canberra for 1 year 30+ years ago, it was very quiet then, now it is much more lively but still by HK standard you will find it quiet. It is a "City without pedistrians" if you just drive by the major roads. Price of accomodation has gone up a lot last few years. The land in ACT is leasehold for 99 years not freehold. Sydney remain the best climate city with the most job opportunities. Melbourne comes second but it is very flat with no harbour, with "4 seasons in a day" change.
