Agree with your 1st half saying - Govt. should not 違憲 interfere POE activities. But EV I reserve mine. Because push EV not just Environment sake. It would be Production Efficiency and opening possible High-tech such as AI and other new clean energy sources too. I support democratic governments assist emerged/new industry vis its incentive policies.

@@lioicomestai3703 Two points for your consideration: EV does not offer any real help in clean air. The electricity it needs comes from power plants and over 80% power plants burns fossil fuels. It changes the location of the pollution but EV’s are not really zero emission. EV saves gas money but the purchasing price is much higher than conventional motor vehicles. I don’t know how many miles it takes for an EV to break even with the higher purchasing cost. Main thing I cannot use EV is the very limited range. I simply cannot buy a car that can only go 200 miles before it needs charging. Battery charging presents its own problems-it takes too much time and charging stations are relatively rare. For a second car for short range work such as commuting, shopping trips etc. near home they are ok.

@@kzoo4053 EV is still at toddler stage. But "not offer ... clean air is against common sense. Assuming all the electricity generate purely by fossil fuel in next 3 - 5 year (the renewable ones had not existed yet including the lab breakthrough on "new energy.), the EV benefit from following 2 points are obvious without needing your consideration: 1)collective retrieve used-up car battery reduce each individual car burning fossil fuel polluting the air. Make sense? 2) Conventional Car Engine consist of over 2,000 components which need huge industry to support would be wiped out when EV only got around 40 parts mainly doesn't need a so-called engine. It also would reduce car maintained at least for 50% blindly speaking. No engine means no mechanical oil, water cooling etc. and EV becoming lighter ..... Common on you must understand traditional why car makers like Toyota always have negative attitude on EV. It threats their lives. I am here not mean to teach you a lesson. not qualified. Tesla's share price high but not cup of my tea either. I am talking about common sense you are trying talking it down. No argument value here. Your "only go 200 miles" is out of dated. The EV Charging Station already entered Industrial Standard verification stage or nearly there. Tesla got some advantage though. I am not expert here. AI in EV is another trend make it potentially more shining, Sir. Unstoppable, dude. It would be beginning of Industrial 4.0 in one particular sector of product making.

@@lioicomestai3703 We are not talking about the same thing. I am not against future developments. I am talking about now. Mileage is a huge problem now. That the main reason I will not consider EV now. Neusom and Biden both indicated they want to legislate internal combustion engine powered vehicles at a specified time. They act like dictators, forgetting they are elected by the people and NOT supposed to make such widely implicated decisions without approval from the people. Even if they were legally allowed to do that, they are acting too soon without enough certain knowledge. Important change needs gradual transition, cannot be done on a certain date. To do so is impractical . It is people’s choice on what type of anything they want. Choices not to be dictated by a governor or president or even congress.
