觉得更像中美区别，不像中西方区别。我在荷兰，派对啥的都很准时。做事也超严谨，每天每个钟头要做什么事，都是电子日历上记好，精确到小时。 当然，西方国家中产及中上层阶级的生活方式和底层人民生活方式差距怕是比中外差距还大。那种不守时的，派对上夸夸而谈吹牛逼的，一般都是底层人民居多……

温度真的太对了，我家一般27或28度，很舒适啊

在夏天，美国所有公共地方的空调都开得很低，尤其是课室。第一次去上课的时候，我穿着短袖短裤在课室，差点没冻傻了，以至于我夏天每次去课室都要穿长裤和带件厚点的长袖外套。至于冬天，刚好跟夏天相反，穿着长袖长裤去课室。他们开着暖气，暖到穿着单薄的长袖长裤都热出痱子，以至于我必须穿着短袖长裤在里面，冷了就穿超厚超长的羽绒服在外边。

The slouch vs the overly generous host Very true. Go to a friends house and he doesn't really have anything prepared. He still goes about his routine and now you're just a part of it. But it also gets to be daunting when you go to a Chinese friend's house and suddenly his mom's there talking about how terrible your friend is and how much nicer you probably are with your mom and are you hungry because she'll fix something for you, are you thirsty because her son will be more than happy to get you something to drink, are you cold, are you hot, are you having fun, why is her son not making your stay more fun, are you ok with it, its good to hear you're fine with how much a poor host your friend has been to you and so on. And of course you never leave empty handed..... even when you'd like to. And the same thing happens when they come to your house.
