Cinematically glorious and astoundingly shot and immersive footage of compelling locations as usual. You can see there are a few new tricks in her videos every time. Really good stuff. Best channel of it’s kind as far as I’ve ever seen. Plus there are bunnies.

Totally agree with you, my friend. This is the best KZbin channel of its kind. Amazing!!! :)
Here, Anna contrasts a pretty, historic town with a place that once was the heart of darkness. We should indeed remember all aspects of the past. On a lighter note, Anna’s films always inspire in me a need to research the places she films so wonderfully. This has led to the discovery that Takehara Town has a Scottish link. At 5:30 a western-style building, a folk museum, appears. Apparently, next to it are two statues. They are of Masataka Taketsuru and his Scottish wife Rita. Born to a sake-producing family, he was sent to Scotland to learn how to distil whisky. Whilst there, he married a local girl (causing family disputation) before returning to Japan. He was to become the founder of Nikka Whisky.

Thank you for always watching my video. I was very interested in this town because those stories were made into a drama on Japan Broadcasting Corporation. Thank you for giving us more information.
This channel is incredibly well produced. The photography, edition, soundtrack are all impeccable. Watching this channel has been a great pleasure, and a consolation during this difficult period. Thank you so much for posting these beautiful scenes of Japan, they take me there for sure, and it has been special.

Wow!!!! Coming from indigenous roots of water [seas, lakes and rivers] it was such a beautiful opening the sea of Ohkuno Island. Takehara township is beautiful, again the architecture is simplistic and beautiful. Matsusaka Residence is stunning, with the back drop of mountain, and bush makes it even more picturesque. I love the walkway at Okakae Jizo going up into the mountain. The temples you film have so much wairua [spirit, spiritual feeling, spiritual connection] for me it’s as if I can feel it through your filming and that is felt with the filming of Saihou-ji Temple……..thank you. Standing at the top of the steps and at the temple of Saihou-ji Temple overlooking a breath taking landscape….thank you. I watched the short clip of Ohkuno Island several times I just loved the weaving of past, present and future. Bless you Anna 💙💙💙

What a lovely town. Once again, you shoot it well. Your particular style of recording and editing gives Takehara a special place in the sun. The Matsusaka residence is a real gem. I have always wanted to visit Rabbit island - for the beauty, the bunnies, and the buildings (abandoned weapons lab). I will be back for multiple viewings!

It’s actually rather hard to differ between them, mate. A lot of houses in Japan, and many parts of Asia, are also served as shops or restaurants. That’s just how it had been during old time. I’m Asian, so I know that full well.

@@TTR002 oh fair enough. id love a house thats part home, part video game/ comic store . aswell as living in japan :)
@TTR0023 жыл бұрын
@@DafyddBrooks Well, in towns like this, you more likely won't find a lot of well-commercialized stuffs. Instead, you might find some stuffs of your childhood more easily. For me, it's more about the surrounding atmosphere. I have travelled to Japan 2 times & am waiting till we can travel again for a 3rd time. Most of the time in Japan, I find it's more relax & comfortable being in small towns like this one, rather than big cities like Tokyo.
@DafyddBrooks3 жыл бұрын
@@TTR002 oh yeah i think a lot of people feel like going to the capital touristy places in any country like london for UK, Paris for france, sydney for australia and so on. but finding a rural place thats not on the maps is more adventurous and exciting :). i'll defo go to japan one day in the future not just for tokyo or akiharbara, but a place like this would be breath taking and simple !! I tell people who visit north Wales to not bother with touristy places like Llandudno or Llangollen and instead go to Corwen, Bala lake or Ruthin town. and so should you :)
What makes these videos look so smooth? Is it gimbal work? Or fps?

Maybe this question has been asked many times before; but why are the locations filmed always deserted? Is it the time of day that these videos are shot or are these locations truly deserted?

Greetings from Argentina. Each video is a visual beauty, but I have seen in this and other videos many houses with the exterior walls covered with wood, so I ask: is it to isolate it from the cold of the snow or is it for some other reason?
@annafilmproduction11433 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment from Argentina. I think those trees are for the prevention of intruders and for the landscape.
The house is well maintained, and it still retains the architectural style of a hundred years ago. It feels very immersive. You shot very well. Thank you for sharing!!

your videos are literally wow, but if you will put some original score( music), it will be better. rest ur the videos are awesome( delete the music part). Always remember, music play an equally important role and it should be like, one wishes to listen to it again n again. i can watch your videos 1000 times but with music, it will be a headache. SO try to get some original score

I want to know the answer, I think it's also fps and 4k quality with fine post stabilization... But that's my guess. It also must be a very good camera if it can shoot 50 fps in 4k
