ZHANGJIAJIE - Most SURREAL Mountains | Vlog

Zhangjiajie city, home to Tianmen mountain, National forest park, and Glass bridge across the Grand Canyon. Zhangjiajie is the prime place to see China's most beautiful, majestic and surreal mountain landscape. From Tianmen mountain's cloudy peak and glass catwalk bridge, to the National forest park's mystical Avatar peaks where James Cameron's movie was filmed, and to the Grand Canyon where you can walk across the largest Glass bridge over a steep canyon.
This time, I am traveling with my mom. We spend 4 days exploring Zhangjiajie's natural wonders. Lots of hiking, lots of gasps of awe, and lots of beautiful scenery.

Hi David, great video. How far away is it from mountain to mountain and what is the best way to travel between them?

There are bus' dedicated that travel between city to mountain locations and they are very cheap. Depending on where you stay, bus ride can go from 1h to walking distance. You can also take taxis although that will be more expensive.

the easy trails and summits can be very crowded, but if you take any hiking trails that require some form of effort, then there will be almost no one else

Hey, its hard for me to give you a solid number as depending on your accommodations, prices can fluctuate. But I will say this, park tickets are rather expensive and you can find details online (+ cable car tickets within the park are paid separately so that adds up). Food outside though is rather cheap and so is living accommodations if you book early enough. Transport is quite cheap as well. Hope this helps!
