The transcendent queen arose between the paradoxical harmonic dissonance that she carved in the land with hands and teeth. She towers over the vast sonic landscape that lay around her as streams flow from her mouth and eyes propounding to the all the melody of her intent; a conflict that only finds resolution in itself, of itself. This universe is both new and old and the source, the queen, has seen and caused it all to be. Magnificence! Thank you for your art 👏👏👏👏👏👏

You're one of the best in the world of microtonal music. Often it sounds "out of tune" when listening to others play around with it but somehow you make it gel perfectly. Must be the primodality at work!

I don't often get excited about the future of music, but this entire mini song cycle sure gets me there. I find myself coming back to this after going through hell and back. College stress, a breakup, intense anxieties about the future and so on. I find comfort in listening to the whole piece as i feel it takes me on a journey through the profound nature of sound. Thank you.
@vivianangel58733 жыл бұрын
I revisited this song after not listening to it since November or so. The level of control that sound has over the mind is disarming in some ways, and this song demonstrates that for me. I can remember specific smells from the time period in which I first heard this piece: smoke, engine oil, musty upholstery and root beer flavored vape. There are also less ephemeral experiences that start to appear from that time, mainly the wildfires near me and the loss of a friend just over two months after this song was released, right before Halloween. Z, you have successfully anchored a part of my psyche to this song like a save point in a video game. Everything I was experiencing at that time is instantly available in some sense memory data bank for about half an hour just by listening to this song. Thank you for allowing me to have this experience.

Wow... I just found out about your music, and I must say that I can't comprehend the scope of amazing stuff you have composed and produced in a rather short amount of time. All of it is simply mind-blowingly unique and innovative. Not just in terms of tonality and tuning, but in terms of how you use it to create grand musical narratives with maximum emotional impact that constantly keeps you on your toes while listening. I think that a new part of my brain has been activated, or something. Thank you so much!

This music is absolutely entrancing, and so is the video honestly. For something that is 24 minutes long, I was expecting something that had a much slower build up or took longer to change textures, but I think the fact that there's always something developing is what wraps the listener in and keeps us engaged so well!

I don't know, if you just came to appreciate the beauty of spectrograms, or if it actually has to do with some of your other type of videos - especially on the second channel - but it made me feel hard in that direction while listening. I just listened to this on headphones, stone sober. It is like music beamed in through a wormhole and sounding in full technicolor with every frequency of electromagnetic radiation suddenly made audible. Hints of some of the origins of great electronica (Autechre, Squarepusher, BoC, AFX) but in a totally NEW NEW NEW spin. What a tremendously unique, brilliant, and talented human being you are.
