I don't have this gimbal but it's great to see this kind of tutorials. What happens if you randomly say a command during a vlogging session?

The gimbal will listen for commands for 15 seconds. When that time if done, the person has to say "Hey Cami" again to activate it

I am amazed on how it will understand your hand and voice commands! However if you get frustrated and confused because there is so much to learn, and either swear or give 'the finger' at it, the unit will shut down your phone and you will not be able to make any calls or do anything for a period of time determined by the CQ5! 🤣 lol

lol You are really funny! Some of these gestures take practice and the one to make the phone flip to horizontal mode made me crazy to be honest, I think I did "all of the above" of what you said lol. Voice commands were a breeze, but they are too many!

Excellent video... I use the Blackmagic Camera app on my Samsung S24 smartphone. Can I still use that app with the CQ5 app controlling the camera app or must I use the Zhiyun app?

I'd be nice to see a video comparing this AI tracking module to for ex; Insta360 and DJI AI via app... and not only for people in front of the camera, but for subjects in a long distance, how accurate it is and so on...

true, but this video is a tutorial on how to use the gimbal so that kind of features are not really being tested or compared to those extends. Besides, I can give you a more accurate spoiler: none of these gimbals will perform well tracking in "long distance", specially if there are other people, tracking software gets confused. I don't think we are quite there yet

Both are good but I think I would get the DJI as it has a few advantages that for me are worth it

S23 is not that old😄. Android doesn’t record using 60fps on their app but this is something that happens on all gimbals. You can use the native camera app if you need 60fps

First of all, thanks for the tutorial. I would like to ask something specific in case someone could help me. Is it possible to use the gimbal without the Zy Cami app? I mean, I usually do live broadcasts with an app called Prism Live. If I'm using another app, does the gimbal by itself stabilize the image? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Making balance in the middle doesn’t work in all phone models. Holder presses the phone buttoms. You are force to attach in unbalance mode. Holder should be more adjustable to keep buttons free. Also crabbing space/tooth is so narrow that it won’t hold with all phone cases. You have to take phone covers off. My version might be broken, but lighting piece magnets are week. It drops easily while filming jumpy path. I have to tape it. These are my first experiences so far. Overall I like it a lot. I hope some day the app has finnish language settings. Rate 4/5.

Cool. Thanks for the feedback. The phone doesn’t need to be perfectly balanced as with bigger gimbals. Getting it as close as possible is ideal. The magnets that hold the light are too exposed and yeah, I did knock out the light at least twice so you are not alone. Cheers
