The built in light is a game changer! We use them to film VIP parties and events where you’re not allowed to set up light stands.

It's basically the same price as the DJI RS3 Pro here in Australia, which begs the question, why would we select this over the DJI? Nothing in your review suggests any reason why we would.

Agreed on the price. Keep in mind, you get a focus motor and RavenEye transmitter with the DJI Pro.

That's the case from the day the first one handed DJI gimbal launched. There was never a reason to buy a Zhuin or whatever it's called :)

I was putting together my crane 4 last night. It was challenging setting it up and balancing my d810. I wanted to see if it can balance the battery grip and it wasn’t doing that. I’m not sure if I want to hang onto it. I did get it from Amazon so I can return it any time.

I am a photographer and not videographer and I just got one today and.... it's going back. Even with strong chemical smalls when I open the box I still love all the ergonomics and even wanted the LED light for my many quick Run & Gun events in different lighting conditions; however, since the battery grip does not detach and the base is of an odd shape with none quick detachable option for the sling arm and wrist rest (like the Weebill 3s but small for my need) so have this gimbal perfectly setup, balanced and transport as is without rebalancing I will have to empty out my OG ThinkTank Airport backpack without any camera equipment just to fit it by itself and that would not work for me. Also, low angle FF mode hits the LED light and the work around sling to the left to invert causes the motor to start vibrate violently. Does not feel like a final product.

Hey Matt, I have a question. I have Crane 4 gimbal. I balance the gimbal perfectly and when I pan follow and move forward or backward, the gimbal looks slightly to the left and right. What could be the problem? How can I solve the problem? Thank you in advance! 🙏🏾

Good job Matt. I was happy to see you have posted a video on the Zhiyun Crane 4, as I am contemplating upgrading my current crane. In particular, I was lazily hoping that you would mention the maximum weight this crane can support, but I guess I can read the specs. Thanks again.

It's upsetting that there haven't been improvements to the stabilization of these since they were introduced. My guess is that it's too expensive to innovate and no company is willing to do that these days.

As someone that has used both a DJI RS2 and RS3 Pro, there is a visible difference in the level of stabilization.

Their innovation is a useless led light. At least DJI added lidar focus

I just picked up the webill 3 a few months back. I dig the light on the front and find places to use it while filming weddings. It’s def. made for right handers. Built in mic is meh. They need to move back to replaceable batteries. Besides that I like it more than DJI. I’ll pass on the webill 4 seems similar to the 3.

I have bought Zhyiun Weebil 2 combo for my Olympus Om-1 camera last year. What a mistake! It was quite new on the market, so I thought the software support for my camera would come eventually. Zhyiun proved me wrong! I can still use it as a stabiliser, and it is fine, but I can't use dedicated buttons.

Man, look how crazy the Crane 4 is with the FX30 or A6500 and a Sigma 16mm lens, it stabilizes well, but when I exchanged it for the 11mm Sony lens, both on the a6500 and on the FX30, it can't stabilize because the lens is very light and When I pan and tilt the gimbal is shaking, I thought this was a huge flaw in the Crane 4. It's a real shame

I really like your reviews, but I think it's wrong when you trash the wrong category of previous Zhiyun gimbals, Crane 3s was made for medium to Larger Cinema cameras, it even has an Optional extended arm, and has extra Power pack, zhiyun had series of light weight Gimbal examples weeble and more, as a reviewer you should have know that Crane 3s was not meant for things like Weddings it will definitely ruin your back and hands, will you buy DJI Ronin 2 for a filming Weddings without rigging it with support system and that was even made with mostly Carbon fiber. I have been following you for a very long time, learning from you. But I just wanted to correct you on that part. Don't get offended please, you are Amazing. Thank you sir.

Please don't buy this think. Crane 4 after 5 mounths it's decided to stop working. And all this issues appear at same time Crane 4 "update failed" it doesn't hold any charge it seems to attempt to update, then "fails" plugging into my pc doesn't give it any life can't connect to ZY play to update it

I would buy it but I really don’t like the LED on the front. It makes no sense, why would they even include it. The price is aimed at more professional work but it seems to be designed for vloggers?

one very very important point I don't think you mentioned it! The locking system. I thought you would be the one person talking about that feature but you didn't ! :( and that is one most waited feature on the crane 4, talking about me!

Any way you could try balancing your fs5 on this? I’m gonna be buying a gimbal in 2-3 weeks for 2 weddings coming up because my hands are shaky as hell.

According from the official website . It mentions "four 18650 batteries can meet the needs of high intensity shooting for a day " . Is there any way to change 18650 battery by yourself during shoots ?

Can you lock pan axis and still operate it? (I.e. DJI's steadicam mode)?

I don't think it can. All axis should be unlocked when operating.

But the crane 3s was never advertised as a gimbal for wedding filmmakers ! Plus these days by the time u rig up a gimbal it gets heavy anyways

Out of the box with lots of problems, dead battery, it's stuck in sleep mode, can't be updated becasue my phone or PC doesn't recognize it.

People are really confused trying to decide what to buy or what to use. Why we just have people who say the truth about how you feel? Why I will never review about something I will never used? I don't try to be hard on you brother because I think you are amazing and I love your content and I've been learning a lot about you but I've been taking so many bad decisions buying stuff for people like you because I think you're telling me the truth but it's not that simple,
