That was the most excellent and executed tutorials I've seen on KZbin in a while. You have a real skill at passing information.

THE Best tutorial EVER! I'm a fan of tri-pods and dslr photography. I kind of stumbled across this cheap gimbal for 100$ on a 24 hour deal. I thought it would be nice to my Sammy S9 so I bought it on an impuls even though I wasn't really sure what to do with it. Now I know a lot more. It's a really useful product. Taking pictures just by holding a slippery smartphone can be a real hassle. Thank you!

Awesome Darren! I'm a Realtor® up here in the Great White North (Canada). I just bought the Smooth 4 and to be honest my brain went in to overload as soon as I opened it. Thank you for this great tutorial. I have never used a gimbel and barely know the functions on my iphone but after viewing this video I think with practice I can get some great videos. Think you for the tips at the end. I would not have known otherwise the advantage of even placing my phone in airplane mode. No other tutorial I've watched gave the tips as you did. The new Galaxy A80 is 220 grams which is 10 grams over the 210 gram limit of the smooth 4. Is this going to be an issue?

I'm using the Zhiyun Smooth 4 with my Huawei P20 Pro and the FiLMiC Pro app. Awesome results. Really like the pull focus I can do as well as the Exposure control :)

Hi Matt I am having trouble accessing all of the video frame rates that the phone normally has available, the P20 Pro that is. Have you had any issues with this? I can only get 720p 30fps, 1080p 30fps and 4k 30fps. Any thoughts?

Dear Darren, Thanks very much for the informative, intelligent and easy to follow video. I have just got mine (as an early Father’s Day Present) to help with the filming of my son’s journey to becoming a pro-football (soccer) goalkeeper. My wife has been filming him on the iPhone without a gimbal and the results are mixed with her emotions! The Smooth 4 comes with limite documentation and their “Academy” of tutorials for Smooth 4 are limited. Before buying I watched loads of reviews and how to, but every single one of them are either too fast to follow or sound like they took a load of speed! Your tutorial was well measured, with an interesting and not ear shattering, excitable voice, like many of the popular people on KZbin. Now I know what everything does, and more importantly how to use each feature. However, I’m guessing the first few goes are going to be pants! Anyway, thanks for the best tutorial on here. (I see your son like’s football (soccer) get Him to have a look at my son’s new channel...he’s got no subscribers or views other than us!) Thanks
