A great man with an inspiring story! I could see him potentially as a leader of this country one day. I’m Iranian but was brought up in the UK. My father came to this country from Iran in the early ‘90s and earned his PhD from Imperial. He is now an engineer who has made meaningful contributions in the field and I couldn’t be prouder. I too am grateful for the opportunities this country has given me I know I wouldn’t have gotten in Iran; I graduated from university last year with an integrated masters degree in mathematics and landed the job I’d been longing for after months of applying and searching. I know I would have been presented with many more barriers to achieving these milestones if I were brought up in Iran. I have the freedom to express myself and my views without severe repercussions. Many girls and women in Iran have been met with deadly consequences for attempting to exercise such freedom. I am proud to be British and I think it’s important we instil this pride into my generation because it is severely lacking and it’s sad to see. Many of them are ignorant to how much better living in the UK is than many other countries. Vote Reform UK. 🙏
