I once heard someone say "You are the story you tell" and that's become my philosophy in life. I feed myself positive re-enforcement all the time so the story I tell others about me is positive. And that's totally what I get from this song. Love you guys!

I totally agree with your comments regarding the choreography of BTS. I think the BTS choreography is as expressive as the song lyrics and vocals. When I see the choreography of some other Kpop groups, it seems like application of intricate steps that match the beat, but does not really add to the feel of the song. Good job on the reaction.

My take is that their “I’m fine!” has both to do with those times when you are completely crushed and your fear or pride prevents you from accepting support, “Leave me alone, I’m fine.”, but also those times when you are irritated when someone insists that you need their support when you clearly don’t.

💪 I was always impressed that they were able to do this dance with 7 guys on Jimmy's small stage. This song is always on my playlist, its a great pick me up song when the day just feels like it's bogging you down. If you get a chance,there is an award live stage (I think GDA) that they put together Save me and I'm fine, and they mirror image above them on stage where they leave off on Save me and start I'm Fine.

Yes!!! Fine!!! 💪 BTS means more to you when you’re in the know about things. And you are! The choreographies always tell something, I think. Sometimes obvious like in DNA (watch a live!), but even the shirt jerk (is that english?) in Fake Love (watch a live!) is an expression of something like despair, and so on and so forth. 💪Loved the reaction on this one, combined with Save me. Couldn't agree with you guys more, on how BTS get their messages across in a brilliant way. There are tons of artist out there that may sing a song about a similar topic, but the delivery is very important.. and BTS just knows how to deliver specific messages to the world that is very enticing to the listener. 💜💜💜

Interestingly too both the songs they performed on Jimmy Fallon that night (they also sang Idol which was even more lit!) was my two utmost favorite live performances they seemed to have even more energy than they usually have therefore executed both songs so so outstandingly I’m so glad you reacted to this performance 💪💜

the beautiful thing is that their choreo alone tells a story. this is definitely one of my faves too. 💜 if you're gonna check out dance practices, i think story-telling-heavy choreos are spring day, black swan, blood sweat and tears, i need u, tomorrow (live perf), let go (live perf), fake love, butterfly (live perf), etc. (omg i'll stop now). choreo-wise strictly, i'd always be stuck in danger, boy in luv, and bulletproof pt. 2 dance practices... i mean. all. hahahahaha 💪🏼

I'm saying this as someone who likes BTS myself. I recently found a short vdo of a kpop artist whose vocals are much more powerful than anyone in BTS & that too effortless. In this vdo this artist covered Adele's song Someone Like You and he owned it. And this is without any tuning or mixing, just his raw vocals with a guitar. And he was only 20 yrs old then. This guy is the leader of his own kpop group & one of their main producers. I don't mean for you to react to this or for any other kind of response. I'm simply sharing this for you to listen to whenever you wish, since you appreciate good vocals. So for story telling choreography, you gotta watch the Spring Day MMA performance. There are so many meanings associated with that choreography and the visuals they played in the background. Knowing what everything represents makes me cry every time I watch. Same with the music video, but there isn't choreo in there.

i know you already know the link, but please read the lyrics side by side with save me later! each 1 or 2 lines creates an ambigram and it's really really cool. also, i'm fine was made to be the answer to save me, so everything is the opposite - not just the lyrics, but the beat/ music itself and even some of the dancing! it's a masterpiece!
