Are there ANY tutorials out there that actually show you HOW to "finish this off with a turks head knot" ???? I've been searching for quite some time and I couldn't find any so far.
Can you do it where you have the same zig zag pattern 180 degrees around from the first so you have 2 patterns on the same handle??

ANY WAY TO KNOW THE LENGTHS OF CORD WE NEED
@franciscoosuna259 Жыл бұрын
Nobody seems to be responding. I want to know the same. This is my stab at it: MARK the handle with pencil or tape. Another mark 1 inch from the first. Buy 2 feet of the same cord that you want to use. Spiral wrap the cord tight around the handle completely covering the 1 inch of the handle. Mark how much cord was used to cover the 1 inch of the handle. Measure that length. The author used 3 cords to cover an inch. But instead of dividing by 3, divide the measured length by 2. That will give you some extra cord to account for misc. Multiply the result by the number of inches of the handle you want to cover.

I like that pattern. How would do this for a watch band?

It would be pretty tricky to turn a handle wrap into a watchband unless you have a pretty stiff band to wrap a smaller size of paracord around.
