Beautiful playing and even heard some fresh licks! I'd heard of Marcus a little, but researched him and found out he's Roy Hayne's grandson. No wonder he's so darn good, drumming is in his genes and hopefully, he'll have a long drumming career. Roy Haynes is still drumming at 95 and looks and sounds fantastic! ❤☮

I love the sound of his kick! Not too muted but not too ringy- a perfect 'thoomp' Does anyone know what size kick that is or if anything is probably placed on the inside?

I believe those are the same drums they have in all the my cymbal videos, which I think is a 22” kick but don’t quote me on that
