Can attest to how incredible, humble and inspirational Matt Greiner is. I invited him to come to a cafe I was working at in New Zealand via Facebook and he showed up, twice! He hung out and we chatted. He asked if I knew about the festival he was playing at while he was in town. I told him I did, but I couldn't afford the ticket at the time as they were crazy expensive. He then gave me two door spots for myself and a friend. On top of that he freakin killed it, as he does every night. Never stop shining that light, Matt. What may seem like small gestures of kindness make a lasting impact in people's lives. Love you bro. God Bless!

The writing and arranging Sput, Lettieri, and others are doing for this is really unbelievable. There needs to be some sort of recognition for this. Dudes are creating new genres on the fly. And the execution by the band too.
@rogersat4 жыл бұрын
Trey Fontenet yeah no they haven’t. I’d ask you to link one example but I know you can’t. Sure it’s a fusion of genres and fusion is a long-standing thing but I haven’t heard metal incorporated in this way maybe outside of Tigran Hamasyan, but even he isn't using this instrumentation. While I haven't listened to August Burns Red consistently in years, they really were my first metalcore obsession. Matt was my first drumming love and his masterful drumming really inspired me to lean into more and more music. Along the way I ran into Snarky Puppy, and by extension of course, Sput and the rest of his work. So funny and amazing to see one of the coolest, most humble, and cleanest drummers out there pairing up with Sput and the rest of Ghost-Note like this. It's truly the craziest dreams of my high school self come true. And of course, they all killed it.
