Zilean is one of the most hilariously fun champs with so many bullshit mechanics guaranteed to make the enemy rage. Low cooldown burst, exhaust, speed up and free revive - oh and you can laugh whilst coming back to life with ult. 10/10 champ.

Drlazerbeem I find him still fun to play. Not at strong, but still pretty fun. The double bomb stun now is actually really nice. I should really do a re-done video of the champions that they change etc.

I used to be a Zilean support main myself. I don't find him nearly as fun as he used to be due to the w nerf. Also its a shame they nerfed him while he wasn't even a incredibly strong champ! :(

Drlazerbeem well, I still main him. The utility is insane. You do E Q W Q then E right after stun ends and you don't even need an exhaust. You can always ult someone who gets bursted down, you can build into items like talisman and mikaels to increase your utility even more. It's by far my favourite support :)

As a Zilean main, I totally agree with this :) People just don't know. They think having 3 active skills makes you an easy but bad champion. Truth is, Zilean is high risk/high reward champion. And he's a carry at that (late game oriented). Early in the game, you constantly have to refrain using your skills because of mana/cooldown issues, but you have a fairly high burst (one of the best even on support). On level 6, it's about the same, except you can do OP actions with your team (like turning a 2v2 into a 3v2 with your ult). Late game, you're a completely different champion. Your cooldowns are FAR LOWER, with a potential of 2 actions every 3,6 seconds. Read this again. 2 actions : 0.9 AP + 320 damage AND 55% slow for 5.5 seconds EVERY 3,6 seconds. This OPness is of course compensated by your squishiness, but that means, with proper play, you can manage the speed of both a teammate's and the enemy's, while doing some damage and reviving someone. If you have a carry in your team, it's a great advantage. Too bad people with low MMR don't know how to play with him.

I completely agree. It's not about his laning phase that everyone thinks is so godly. I mean, yea it's good - but your mana problems leave you vulnerable to ganks if you don't manage it to still have your E after your trade. His roaming, and team fighting is the best. Unnoticeable bombs that zone out the enemy to spread them more, a permaslow to peel for your adc, and an ult to save bad positioning or being bursted.

Been playing this guy as a main support for weeks and it's loads of fun! Definitely recommend anyone to try out for themselves how fun Zilean can be. A well placed ultimate on a carry can mean ALOT in teamfights and the utility is really underestimated by most. Speed-ups can be great for your adc to catch up to targets etc. I'm very glad you gave Zilean an actual spotlight. He deserves it!

A really good and funny video, nice to see Zil, getting some love. I love but haven't played him in years really. He was my 2nd main champ coming into League of Legends. I used him to buy most of my champs. I would roll as support to WW who back in the day was really OP, I would speed buff him on the hunt and then slow them down for WW to go to town on them well doing "Tons of Damage."
