Hi. Are there any plans to develop a similar cab for the new Kemper Kone when it is released? Kemper will be making a 1x12 but apparently the speakers will be available as individual units from Celestion and I would be interested in a suitable 2x12 vertical zilla cab that is tuned for the Kemper Kone. Oh snap, I've been waiting for this exact video! I have a couple of these speakers and have been looking for the right cab design for them. My understanding is that with this kind of speaker, playing a backing track along with the guitar signal would be possible, since they're 'full range'. How might doing something like that change which cab design you would select (or is that a dumb question)? Also hoping you'll cover the Matrix GT1000fx power amp paired with the Kemper in the future. Thank you!

Is there also a powered version of the X200 cab? If not how much wattage would you advise for an amp?

We don't make one as there are quite a few options out there for decent power amps. The speakers are 200 watts each. The powerstage 170 is a really popular option.

Very cool video ! Very Professional !. I live in Chile but there´s no many options in Chile. I found the X200 but I hace to build my own cabinet. I´ve seen a special desgin in Celestions website with a front ported cab. What´s ur opinion about ported cabs vs regular cabs with this X200 ? hope also you can do a video of X200 Vs V30 Greetings !

Is there any IRs or Cab sims without mic coloration? Obviously, it is not good to use IR with mic coloration and mic the cab again...

These speakers are not ideal for micing up. However, what you get is a fair representation of the signal you send to FOH with IRs, and that's a beautiful option!!!

how does this ( or the Celestion) compare to a regular FRFR speaker? DO you get the "amp in the room"?

In all honesty I'm not convinced any FRFR speaker or cab gives that amp in the room vibe. It sounds better with a valve power amp but then you almost may as well use a traditional amp and cab. I think for modeling amps there is definitely something to be said for keeping things simple when using them live.

Interesting video. To my understanding, no cab is designed for mic'ing purposes but for the speaker itself first and foremost... However, the audio recorded here kinda sound a bit dull... Were those F12-X200 speakers already broken in? Seems like they haven't... or is the solid-state architecture something still noticeable even on a Kemper power head?

The video was mostly a basic tutorial on "how to dial in the Kemper for the X200", so how to change setting on the Kemper to compensate for using cab/speaker profiles. The speaker itself is designed to allow profiles to come through accurately so there was little point in trying to accurately mic the speaker as we would be micing the sound of a mic'ed speaker if that makes sense. I prefer Kempers with a valve power amp for sure but the video was mostly a talk through for Kemper user switching to the X200.

@@ZillaCabs Interesting regarding the valve power amp statement. I am getting ready to purchase a Kemper and not sure what version head to get. Wish to play it through FRFR speaker and traditional guitar speakers as well (taking the IR - cab block out of the chain). Was leaning towards a powered but not 100% sure (meaning buy an external power amp).

Hi Attila, this video has our X200 cab (525x525x300mm) and the Celestion X200 cab that we talked about which is 536x396x344. Both of these cabs are £320 plus shipping.
