Hello Adam, thanks for the tips. They are very important. I also use the forest pack and your presets have been very good. One thing that was missing was you showing the final result, we would love to see it. Be careful with the plugin forest pack because it is common for it to corrupt the forests unfortunately.

Jonas Borge Yeah, the project is under wraps right now, so m going to wait til it's public before I start showing the finished animation. Thanks for the feedback.

Ah yes, I understood, sorry. But surely I want to see ready when that is possible of course. If you no longer tweak in the forest items, xrefs them to an external file for your security.

Hope you have a animation course. It's about lighting adjustment ( lighting direct rotate? day to night..) some animation object like curtain, door...

hey great tutorial man you have skills I was wondering though when you render this on a farm with the lightcache do you leave off use camera path and is it creating a new lightcache map for each frame dont you get flickering in your final result ? I have seen some people use this method and was wondering for a scene like yours how long your render times where like when using brute force and light cache . Thank you again and hope to hear from you soon brother.

I got some very minor flickering only. I was also trying to keep my render frames under 5 min each. They ended up being around 5 - 10 minutes on my home machine, and in the 4 minute range on farm servers. The amazing thing about the farm (I used Rebus) is that it was rendering 200 frames at a time. I could have an 800 frame clip back in less than 20 minutes for about $60! To me, that is an absolutely incredible bargain.
