Animating cameras and getting camera movement is an important part to the success of any 3d movie. Here, we will discuss some of the different techniques and methods you can use in 3ds Max to get good camera movement. We will look at using basic keyframes, with the auto key tool. We will also apply a few different kinds of constraints to both the rotation and the position of the camera.
Specifically, we will use a look at constraint and a path constraint. We will also use helpers (dummy object) to help us animate.
These are all important tools to have in your toolbox when creating cameras and animating them. 3ds Max has so many tools for animating. Hopefully this video helps you to learn a few of them.
