Living in europe, I (58) was overlanding solo in Botswana this year (where I encountered Edward) and will be going to Zimbabwe next year. Overlanding to Chizarira, Matusadona, Manapools (chitake, nyamepi), Gonarezhou, Hwange. You have to know that guys like you and Edward and your other youtube-overlander-friends are a huge inspiration to make trips like this, the only regret could be that I didnt start earlier in life. Thanks for the inspiration, the information and for another entertaining video.

Thank you mate for the kind words from all of us. Your next adventure sounds amazing. Make sure to book at Chitake in Mana Pools, either campsite 1 or baobab campsite. The atmosphere is something unbelievable. Enjoy and I’ll see you at the next one 👌

Thanks so much, I am very happy with 3 nights booked in chitake and also with hlaro, lisoda an chitove in Gonarezhou. I wish you many more adventures. oh and I think I may have said this in an earlier comment but I highly respect your enthousiasm and positivity.

I live in the Matobo Hills just south of Bulawayo and am very much stoked for you. When going to Gonarezhou, strongly recommend passing through gems in the Eastern Highlands. Plenty of scenic routes and waterfalls to chase. Chirinda Forest (about 30km from Chipinge) is a hidden gem with great trails through the ancient woodlands. Wishing you all the best!

Looking forward to visiting Hwange in July 2024. (after a couple weeks in June i Kafue, South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi) This entire series has been fantastic. I spent 2 years in Livingstone town back in the '70s and looking forward to returning 50 years later. Our visit to Kafue was thwarted by 2 Volkswagen breakdowns - Zambia Youth Day 1974 was spent touring Chobe in my 1949 Beetle and Christmas/New Years 1973/74 was a trip in fully loaded (4 adults and about 400Kg of "stuff") '67 Peugeot 204 from Livingstone to Mbereshi Luapula (through Zaire) in the rainy season!!! With the political situation of the early '70s Zim was out of the question, Kariba was sketchy and Lower Zambesi was pretty much off limits. After watching your trip "I dream of Africa".
