The panning at night with the moon and star and the town lit up with lanterns is very peaceful and something hard to recreate in a game, that feeling. This won’t look, the best or play the best or sell the best, but it will maybe feel the best.

I watch every video the first day it comes out because I’m always looking for them, I’ve been listening to every Shenmue song for the last 4-5 years because I was so heartbroken for the “discontinue”, I watch this video just for the pure nostalgic visual and good quality music. This is the most important game in my life. Yeah, you pick things up, look at them, put em down, ask people questions, work to travel, play games, gamble, run around, pawn things, and go to sleep on time. I can’t wait to see what that’s like in 2019. If you think this sounds boring, go play something less detailed. Been waiting 20 years and it’s here!

It's not an old animation, it's new but Yu Suzuki tried to match Ryo's original walking animations because he didn't want the character to feel so different after all these years. If he was walking differently but more realistically there'd be a good amount of fans complaining. Just like when they changed Kiryu's face in Yakuza after 5-6 games.

So many petitions, so many fan posts all over the net, crying and begging to SEGA, even to Zuzuki-san for the release of this iteration, and now....this comes 15 years late. But the good thing is, the wait is over, guys. We finally have Shenmue 3 coming to a console or PC near you 😢😮😍😎 and I love it! The settings are beautiful and the graphics look amazing, I only hope they stay true to the series, just as Suzuki-san intended.
