@@srh361 I’m not a fan of this repair and wire nuts have their place but, this isn’t one of them.

@@az308gts Could you explain why this isn't a place for wire nuts. It's not your typical pedal that there isn't any room plus the access back inside the pedal is very convenient in case anything goes wrong which could be with anything inside the pedal. Plus there shouldn't be any vibration on the unit and even if there was, a properly installed wire nut will not come off. I'm lost as to why you wouldn't want a wire nut in this case so can you fill me in as I've gave reasons a wire nut wouldn't be an issue so I'd like to hear why it would. And the way I saw that get soldered has a better chance of coming lose than a wire nut. I've never seen inside this pedal but the best way would be to eliminate the joint altogether and try to replace the wire at the terminal if possible.

If you worked in audio circuits u would learn quick wire nuts make noise and soldering will not
