Cool guitar, I have some great memories and stories from back in the day. Dan is a great guy, i remember hanging with him and Rich Beck at Becks Guitars, hanging out with the band at A LOT of shows. Even took a few rides with Dan in his Porsche. Still have a video tape of ICON at The Country Club in LA. Many more stories that can not be told ...... Great band and Great guys

Wexler played a Kahler equipped 1984 Jackson Randy Rhoads Student (rosewood/no binding/dot inlays) on both Icon and Night Of The Crime. He replaced the stock Duncan Distortion with a JB.

Love that first ICON record! The guitar tone on it was MASSIVE!😱🤘 I found out about them from a old radio show called "Metal shop" back in the 80's they played the song "World war III " and i ran out and bought the record the very next day! That whole record is great! every tune kills!

Hello Dane. I bought their first album the same year it came out in the early 80’s, after my friend played it on his turntable. Turned up, it sounds thunderous. Especially, Under My Gun, with the thunder drums. Then I heard the second album and liked that one as well. It almost sounds like Dan and John were using a Rockman System. I still own my Rockman X100, since the early 80’s. That’s one crazy guitar hack job. 🤘🏼🎸👍
