I myself when living on the streets in downtown Toronto, I was a very bad crackhead smoking an EASY half oz per day, after being beaten, raped, & no-one to turn to; I'd finally decided to go to rehab after my lungs has collapsed 4x in one night, I called ARF ( Addiction Research Foundation) and within 4 hours I was on a plane to Chicago to Central DuPage Hospital,where my treatment was 13 months. The 1st 2 mths in ICU. That was 13 years ago. Now I am a successful red seal welder with the Pipefitters union hall, And as there definitely aren't recovery outlets which is sad. I walk the streets in my spare time helping others now

This one was hard to watch. She has been homeless and an addict all of her adult life. She is clearly not well. Underweight, malnourished, missing teeth, and admitted that she's had various health issues. She was so dehydrated that she drank that whole bottle of water. I wish she could be admitted to rehab today and spend a year there. I think she said her brother has a POA for her. Sadly, unless she gets help, I don't think her body can withstand the outdoor elements and drugs. A lot of people in the comments are rooting for her. I hope you can do a follow-up on her.

You are right. I am dying of kidney failure and unless you are actively dying it doesnt matter how bad withdrawal you are in. They also treat you like a less-than-human many times. Its really lucky when you actually get compassionate care. We leave our most vulnerable behind.

This is an older video - she is even thinner now! Her BMI is between 10-11... Below 12 is life- threatening. POWs and concentration camp survivors ( as horrible as that is) usually began healthy, were not on drugs, etc.( so some could be saved after liberation) Zion is dying! Aside from any mental illness/ drugs her organs are shutting down - and this further affects the brain - added to everything else. She needs hospice!

Her boyfriend passed away. She said it in an interview, before the video with her and angela... when he asked about her tattooed engagement ring. I think this is why she said he was supposed to bet let out four days ago in this video, but he wasn't on the website... I think when she realized or found out he's gone from this world.... she gave up and is waiting to be with him up above with the big guy❤😢
