My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon in Zion 35 years ago this month. There used to be one room cabins that we stayed in while in the park. We love the desert and Zion is amazing.

Hey guys, Thanks for the videos. You don't realize how many beautiful places there are in the USA until you get out there and see them for yourself. You can watch all the videos and look at all the photos you want, but they just don't capture what you see when you're there for yourself. I love the sites in the mid western states. I believe they are the most beautiful part of our country. I couldn't believe the views that I saw when we were out there. The mountain ranges are one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Again Thanks for the videos I truly loved them. Later

The narrows hike in Zion is the coolest hike I've ever done, but it's not a winter/early spring hike. All of that water was snow a few days ago, the river is FREEZING this time of year.

Long time viewer of your Abom79 channel. Hope you had a nice time in my home state. We love it down in southern Utah and spend many days there every year. You picked a nice time of the year to visit before the summer heat and tourist hit. Zion, while beautiful, is not worth going to in the summer months. 110 deg is not uncommon in the summer and the crowds are overwhelming. Popularity is killing most of our National Parks, especially in Utah. I love the Moab area, but it's becoming impossible to visit due to the high prices for hotels and shortage of camping spots. I'm a firm believer that reservations should be required at some N.P. to keep the crowds to manageable levels.

I live in St. George, just outside Zion. I wish i knew you were coming through, i would have shaken your hand for all the knowledge and insight you have passed to me. This is my backyard and we love love it here. We go hike angles landing and others after work. Me and my buddies like to go off the beaten path around the area and find the real gems, canyoneering and rappelling hundreds of feet thought that stuff is a blast!

Abom, I live in Phoenix, AZ so you're in my playground. There are a lot of places you missed in Southern Utah and Northern Arizona that are truly spectacular. Monument Valley is incredible (take a jeep tour there) and Arches National Part is maybe the best there is. Dead Horse Point State Park is right next to it as well as is Canyonlands National Park. A Jeep tour of Canyonlands is a must. Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park isn't that far from Zion and is really cool. As the Doors so correctly commented "The West is the Best."

You and Abby might like the Badlands. I was there as a kid, and really enjoyed it. Out that way is also the Black Hills caverns, along with Mt. Rushmore and more. If you head that way, you might as well go to Montana and spend some time in Glacier. Yea, ok, you'll need a month...or three. :)

If you want a shop with a view there's land to the west of Grand Junction, Colorado for cheap surrounded by views like those. If you head east along I-70 you'll pass through. If you have time you should take a quick detour over the Colorado National Monument.

Agreed, that place is great. Believe it or not I was FORCED to go to Montrose CO for business many times. I didn't bitch to much about making those "business" trips. I typically managed to squeeze a balloon ride in there somewhere during the week. The place is spectacular.
