Hiked the West Rim trail starting early in the morning and reached Angel's Landing late afternoon when there weren't very many people (late April). Amazing hike. For those afraid of heights, it's worth hiking up to Scouts Lookout and skip Angel's Landing itself, and instead, rather than turning right at the lookout, go left to Telephone Canyon (don't recall how much farther but I don't think it was too far). It's beautiful there. Another good hike is Observation Point. And, of course, The Narrows is not to be missed at the right time of year. I hiked part of it early October, about 7 or so miles in. Spectacular!

I went to the mouth of the Narrows in 2003 and was amazed at its beauty. Would love to go back and hike the 16 miles between the canyon walls. Any takers?

Beautiful place but much too crowded when I went in September 2014! It was like a freeway in a big city at rush time! No where to park! Just stay in line behind the buses and hundreds of cars! Ugh! Enjoyed the back roads around the area much more!

I swear this is literally the most overrated National Park. Go to Yosemite, or the Seqoyias, or Grand Teton, or Glacier, or Yellowstone.. pretty much any other major National park is less crowded and more scenic.
@JordanMcKee2 жыл бұрын
I disagree. Everyone has their own preferences but man I am hard pressed to call Zion overrated. I think everyone should experience it
@BillyBadger0432 жыл бұрын
@@JordanMcKee That’s fine if you like it. I simply don’t see the hype about it at all. Nothing particularly special about the scenery to me. It’s better than Joshua Tree but that’s about it.

It's so scenic. One of our favorite national parks.
