Who told you that? What do you know about the UK? People say the UK is expensive because they only stay in London. But even then, you can't compare any city in Germany to London. No city in Europe can compare to London. In London, you can earn a ridiculously high income if you're a qualified professional in the finance or tech sector. Even self-employed plumbers and electricians earn far more in the UK than any country in western Europe. Agency nurses can earn more than £50 per hour. If you live in Northern Ireland (which is part of the UK), you can save a lot of money as a middle-income earner because you'll pay less than half the rent of a London flat and still earn around the same amount. You'll also be able to live in a much bigger house. People should stop comparing London to other countries. London has some of the best-paid jobs in the world, the best entertainment, and attractions that no other city can offer. London also provides some of the top jobs in finance and tech. Those who usually complain about London are those who do menial jobs or jobs which are generally known to pay less in most countries.
