Dear 💗Afshin💚 I thought I'd suggest interviewing Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch. He has reported today that FBI agents have been intimidating him at his home in retaliation for JW's FOIAs, Discovery and other pro-social investigations. JW is very interesting because they are an anti-imperial Rightwing investigative law firm which is highly productive.

Israelis should not have dual citizenship in the US and Israel. Also, AIPAC should be registered as a foreign agent, and gift to Congress/Senate should be listed so all Americans can see. AIPAC should not have little impact on foreign policies concerning America. We the America pay the taxes, we should more power in the Federal Government rather than Israel.

MondoWeiss had a great interview about American girl scouts who decided early on to raise funds for Palestine. Modelling the logic upon the saturation of Ukranian solidarity. They were confused when they were forbidden from doing so, and ultimately had to part ways with the official girl scouts institution in order to enact the values which they had developed as girl scouts.

U.S. population 2023 = 335,893,238 of which 7,513,000 are identified as Jews. This means the American Jews represent approx 2.3% of the United States demographic. Then we consider that not all American Jews support Zionism. Consequently, we must conclude that AIPAC represents less than 2% of the United States electorate but controls American Foreign Policy in the Middle East and a majority of American politicians. We believe that Israel is not a liberal democracy and must we conclude that the U.S. is also not a liberal democracy? Can we make a case that Israel has imposed its apartheid democracy in the U.S. Senate and Congress? How do American voters feel about this?
@roberthornack16922 күн бұрын
You must also realize that there are 100,000 Christian Zionists residing in the U.S. which is where AIPACs strength comes from.

Susan, I see and feel the pain in your heart and in your Soul , it exudes through your words and in your demeanour. I truly hope that you take the time to stay in good health (mentally and physically) as the stress and depression must be close to unbearable. You said that the self guilt of people who can 100% clearly see the Genocide and Complicity of all those from the Politicians to the Media is widespread, and it is compounded by many of us not being able to do anything about such evil actions and complicity. I’m on anti-depressants and feel so so guilty of self-pity - when I compare it to the pain and horror that the Palestinian People are going through. Please stay safe and as healthy as is humanly possible -Your work in exposing the truth is so vital.

Sadly, this woman represents all that is wrong with the Palestinian condition ... blind hatred of Zionism and a complete lack of a realistic ambition ... both of which have led to such a tragic outcome for ordinary Palestinians. One can't help but feel pity for the Palestinians ... but it is pity, and not respect. Their consistent failure to accept an existence alongside a Jewish state (as opposed to an existence in place of a Jewish state) has caused them to forfeit any right to respect. It has to be conceded that the current Israeli government is truly awful, and that the likes of Smotrich, Ben Gvir and even Netanyahu himself, are odious and loathsome individuals. But it is neither theses individuals nor the current Israeli government that is responsible for the desperate plight of the Palestinians. Two peoples have a claim to the land of Palestine. Ernest Bevin (then UK Foreign Minister) summed it up best in 1947 when UK passed the Palestine mandate to the UN. "This problem is incapable of resolution. The first and overwhelming priority of the Jews is to have a Jewish state. The first and overwhelming priority of the Arabs (as the Palestinians were then known) is that the Jews should not have a Jewish state". The trouble is that the Palestinians are resolutely opposed to sharing the land of historic Palestine with the Jews on any basis. And, the tragedy is that the Palestinians could have had 80% of Mandate Palestine (1937 Peel Commission) and then 50% (1947 UN Partition … and their 50% excluded the Negev desert). More recently, they were offered self-determination on successive occasions by Rabin, Barak and Olmert … and turned it down on every occasion. Now, they'll be lucky to get 20%. And just for the sake of clarity, amidst all the calls to support UNRWA and so-called humanitarian aid, it is Palestine that is waging war on Israel, not just Hamas. The Palestinian civilians are wholly supportive of Hamas ... all opinion polls show that if there were an election tomorrow, Hamas would be the outright winners. The Palestinians and Hamas are one. The attacks by Hamas are effectively attacks by all Palestinians ... and they are now, sadly for them and particularly for their children, rightly suffering the consequences of such a misguided complicity in the antagonism to Israel. In the last 1,000 years the Jews have suffered expulsion from, and discrimination, persecution and far, far worse in many of the countries of Western Europe; in some, if not all, of the countries of Eastern Europe; and certainly, in all of the Arab countries of the Middle East. The Palestinians go on and on about the Nakba as though they were the only people in history to suffer an injustice. At the same time as the Nakba, more than 600,000 Jews were forced to flee the Arab countries of the Middle East. Since then ... NO dedicated UN refugee agency for Jewish refugees; NOT 1 Jewish refugee camp; NOT $1 of UN aid to the Jewish refugees; and NOT 1 claim by Jewish refugees for right of return to their countries of origin. Instead of wallowing in self-pity and victimhood, they got on with their lives. If the Palestinians had only done the same, what a wonderful and thriving state they could have had by now.

A really long piece of cut and paste of the standard Zionist tropes my friend. I’ve watched for years and I’m older than the State of Israel. Not just from outside but for years from the inside of Israel. I heard this same “justification” using the same wording to somehow make Israel sound civilised and defending itself against the threatening hoards of marauding Arabs both Muslim and Christian. If it makes you sleep at night that’s between you and your god but don’t expect others to believe your propaganda. I can tell you the world has changed in the last 15 months. Not just for Palestinians but very much for Israelis as well. The governments of certain western counties that profess support and provide armaments for Israel but the vast majority of the ordinary decent people in those countries now have a very very different view of Israel. As Israelis like to travel around the world they will discover how much civilised people have swung against them , their country and their culture. Then they will feel disconnected and disenfranchised from decent countries wherever they go. It’s really changed and it’s changed for a very long time to come. There will need to be st least a generation of the population of decent counties before this feeling of revulsion starts to change but don’t bet on it as it will probably take much much longer.
@Charles-v6lКүн бұрын
I've done my research as my comment eminently shows. Instead of your mindless cliche-ridden invective, you might like to consider what agency the Palestinians have in their own demise. Plenty, I would say, as is there for all to see. And sadly, it's their children who are paying the price for the blind obduracy of previous Palestinian leadership, whose only strategy has been to try to turn the clock back to pre-1948 ... with disastrous consequences for the ordinary Palestinians. How much more they could have achieved from previous more moderate Israeli leadership, with just modest compromise. Now they look like getting nothing at all. Utterly tragic.
