If only these wires matched up with the button% route. This definitely seems faster than kuai+booster and grappling hook. You can even grappling hook up these towers if there's a coil on the end, as the hook can be deployed onto the coils to skip the climbing process.

This is broken on BTZ as not many hunters know about this, so if you use cloak potion or get camouflage you can get some insane DFAs on hunters this way.

Have you seen that new dlc that just released yet? It’s probably the most absurd thing I’ve seen techland try so far. £5 releases of outfits that look like reskins, and £5 to skip this dogshit events grind. They released an event with no gameplay change, literally just a goal to grind out which was annoyingly high, then charge £5 to let players skip it. It’s easily the worst event so far, even the last shit ones had reskinned enemies or something. I really feel that techland is testing the waters. Seeing how much they can charge and how much players are willing to grind. Seeing how much goodwill it takes for players to ignore shit like this.

The event is bad and the goal is way too high yeah. But I think a way to purchase items that you've missed out on from events is fine. What really bothers me though is that they've released the DLC BEFORE the event has ended, like wtf?

@@AussieGG I feel like event reruns would offer players a chance to get event rewards properly, I think that’s what’s always happened for dl1 at least. Once the reward’s turned into dlc, it’s not really an event reward anymore, it’s just another piece of dlc, if that makes any sense. Releasing it before the event is done is utter shit regardless. I’d already seen a comment on the subreddit from someone who would’ve paid just to skip the grind. Especially for this event. I remember thinking the sgt Ryan event was the worst one to date but this is somehow even worse. I really really don’t like what I see for dl2’s future updates. Players have shown that so long as there’s at least one good change, they’ll overlook this kind of thing. They’ve recently added more lootboxes through the pilgrim outpost. I hope to god something changes.

Pilgrim Outpost is fine, it's nothing you pay for and you actually can get what you want to get if you want a DL2 specific reward or a DL1 specific reward. The old TechlandGG website basically worked like a levelling system that you'd get a reward for each level you get (you level up by completing quests). But the item you get can be either for DL1 or DL2; regardless if you owned only one of those games. DL1 had events that failed their global goals, but were later offered as free items on Gemly or the old dockets website. And even now we have tons of free DL1 event items on Pilgrim Outpost. That's not what they're doing with DL2 and I can definitely see the concern there.

@@AussieGG Tbh I’m put off by grinding in general so techlandGG and the chapters are probably never going to appeal to me. Either way Techland seems to have some kind of vision for the game, I sadly do not think I am the demographic for the ‘live-service’ style of updates that they’re going for. I can’t even see that changing at this point, they’re clearly deadset on the battlepass-esque systems of the chapters and techlandGG, and I think events are kinda being dragged into it as they’ve mostly been focused on some massive grind rather than enjoyable gameplay twist. Maybe I’m just burnt out or some shit too, I’ve been more invested in the updates and techland marketing than actually playing the game for months now.
